I'm back, it's not an easy way lol.
Good luck. Many banking apps doesn't like data center IPs. So, the usual solution is to homelab.
Thanks! Totally agree — the right IP type depends on the use case.
How many residential proxies inside North Korea do you have?
Unfortunately, we currently have no residential proxies in North Korea at this time.
Still comparing options?
Feel free to ask us about pricing, locations, rotation or proxy types. We're happy to answer.
Offer violates rules:
https://lowendtalk.com/discussion/137719/lowendtalk-community-rules-updated-june-2026/p1#whitehat
We do not allow discussions of how to commit illegal activities such as DDoS attacks, spamming, hacking, etc. Threads on these subjects will be closed and removed. Discussion of defense against these acts are welcome.
Just to be clear - that list of subjects includes … residential proxies
@angstrom @DP
Thanks for pointing this out. I’ve already checked with the moderator regarding this, and they confirmed that it’s okay as long as we can demonstrate that the service is legitimate and compliant with the rules.
All is good, he can bend the rules - he paid the fee.
lmao which mod say this?
I suppose the main issue with residential proxies is that many of them are obtained illegitimately (botnets, misleading "share your unused internet for cash!" apps, etc.), not that residential proxies themselves are an issue.
Exactly, that's the point. The sourcing and authorization really matter. Thanks for raising it and for giving us the chance to clarify our network.
We’re not trying to bend any rules. Our offer was reviewed and approved by the LET team, and we’re following the guidelines they provided.
A nice workaround for rules
. Pretty political I should say. "Stay grey and you are good to go".
We are not born yesterday. The knowledge about how "residential" IPs and proxies are obtained is in the plain field. You are operating in "grey market". My personal opinion such activities should be banned, not "you just fix that and good to go".
Have a good sales.
What is the difference between https://niuproxy.com/proxies and https://okkproxy.com/pricing/residential-proxies ?
Well, they don't have proxies in Russia, so it is not a grey area for LET owners.
Just like it is okay with them that rustelekom advertise payment solutions that are sanctioned in the US.
🙃
in case you were confused about what sort of market LET was, lol.
the actual literal owner will tell you which words to remove from your scumpost.
So you don't mind explaining how you source proxies for 195+ countries and 10M+ IPs legitimately then? I can believe a provider sourcing ISP/Mobile proxies for a few countries legitimately, but not on that scale.
Now, let me just demonstrate that they source their proxies from IPIdea, a company known for using botnets and malware, and had parts of their infra seized.
NiuProxy publishes help articles on how to use their proxies with different software, here's an article on"BitBrowser": https://help.niuproxy.com/niuproxy-guide/fingerprint/bitbrowser
On an image in step 5, they run a check on the proxy, which returns the IP: 185.173.27.214

Searching for the IP on Spur, a company tracking residential proxies Looks like the only proxy network connected to this IP is... drum roll IPIdea
i mean only people making money off it are going to pretend they don't know residential proxies = malware but whatever.
or actually mentally deficient, i guess.
There are some that I would consider "legitimate", but they usually only have 1-4 countries.
Usually it's one of 2 ways:
They colo with some ISP and have them announce their ranges under the ISP's ASN.
And as for mobile, usually farms of LTE USB modems (sometimes even specialized appliances for it) and lots of unlimited data sims.
NiuProxy and OkkProxy are separate brands with different plans and pricing.
For NiuProxy, our residential proxy plans currently start from $0.35/GB, with flexible plans from 1GB up to 10TB. We also offer ISP, mobile, datacenter, and unlimited residential proxies.
If you're specifically looking for residential proxies, you're welcome to compare both and see which fits your needs better.
Fair point. Our website does state 10M+ residential IPs across 195+ countries, and that refers to the IP pool/network coverage available through NiuProxy — not that we personally own or independently source every IP in all 195+ countries.
We work with commercial upstream suppliers, while NiuProxy operates the gateway, authentication, routing, rotation, and management layer.
As for
185.173.27.214: if Spur associates it with IPIdea, that's something we can investigate. But an IP attribution alone doesn't prove that NiuProxy directly sourced it from IPIdea, nor that we knowingly obtained proxies through botnets or malware. If you have evidence of a direct NiuProxy–IPIdea sourcing relationship or evidence that NiuProxy knowingly participated in such activity, please share it. We're happy to address specific evidence and investigate questionable IPs with our upstream suppliers.
Yes, those are legitimate models, but they're not the only ones.
A large proxy network can also be built through multiple commercial upstreams and partners, each contributing different regions and access types. That's essentially how broader geographic coverage is possible without directly operating ISP ranges or LTE modem farms in every country.
Need a few stable IPs for your projects?
Our Static ISP plans start at $3/IP for 7 days.
Do you have anything with per-hour billing?
Not at the moment. Our shortest billing options are 1 day.
