Looking for 180TB offshore storage server - RAID6, monthly, fast delivery
Hi all,
Looking for a large offshore storage dedicated server for a media library.
Requirements:
- ~180TB usable (RAID6 - need to survive 2 drive failures, not RAID0)
- Separate OS disk (SSD/NVMe) from the storage array
1Gbps unmetered is fine (10Gbps a plus) — this is a storage/origin box,
not the delivery edge32GB+ RAM
- Debian or Ubuntu
Important:
Offshore / DMCA-ignored jurisdiction (Moldova, Bulgaria, Finland, etc.) —
please state your location and how you handle abuse/copyright noticesMonthly billing (not 6-12 month prepay)
- Fast delivery - days, not weeks
- Crypto payment (XMR/BTC)
Budget flexible for the right provider with a real track record. Please share
specs, price, location, and delivery time. Reviews/references welcome.
Thanks!

@alexhost
try tube-hosting not sure how fast they can deliver it these days though
We should be able to do this and deliver today.
Example spec:
Dual 2650Lv3
128 GB RAM
400 GB SSD for OS
12 x 18 TB HDD (in RAID6, 180 TB)
1 Gbps Unmetered Outbound
10 Gbps Unmetered Inbound
DMCA Ignored
Location: The Netherlands
Crypto payment preferred
Monthly: 569 EUR
Ping if interested and we can get this moving quickly as its 11:30 AM in NL
Thanks jayjay, this looks close to what I need. Two questions:
Do you have an offshore location (Moldova, Bulgaria, Finland) in addition to
the Netherlands? For a media library I'd prefer a jurisdiction fully outside
EU DMCA/BREIN enforcement.
What's your company name / how long have you been operating? Happy to check
references.
The spec and monthly billing work well for me otherwise.
180TB?
Hi mate
i run a similar setup
i bought multiple storage boxes from hetzner auction. @ 196TB for around 350$ @ 1.80$/TB
In my experience DMCA ignore hosters were very unreliable in Uptime.
i ended up setting up a 10gbps reverse proxy infront of Hetzner NL offshore 99.99% uptime
Costed me about 550$ Monthly for full setup
If it works for your use case, a Hetzner server (or other affordable onshore option) and offshore VPS acting as reverse proxy might be an option worth exploring. Best of both worlds.
You can pay for most hosts with crypto by using one of the dozens upon dozens of crypto card solutions out there. No need to limit yourself to just those who take crypto directly.
Edit: Basically, what @runnerfromfeds said. Didn't see it before posting.
This is really helpful — the reverse-proxy-in-front-of-Hetzner approach is smart.
A few questions:
1. Where's your reverse proxy hosted? (which provider / location, and is it
DMCA-ignored?)
2. How do you lock down Hetzner so it only accepts traffic from the proxy —
firewall rules, WireGuard tunnel?
3. Have you had any DMCA issues reach Hetzner despite the proxy, or has the
hiding held up?
4. What proxy software are you using (nginx, HAProxy)?
Response to @SimCEO
2.Have Claude setup everything for you. Ask it to do a complete security audit so its locked down .I know this may see unconventional but trust me it works from my experience
Never ever had DMCA issues , my backend are all hosted on hetzner.
Just double checked , its nginx. I do not care much about the technical aspect since Claude just does it lol
Not something to be super proud about, in case something goes wrong you won't know where to start because you just blindly copy pasted instructions. You final price came near to the offer of @jayjay, so I'm not sure if such complex setup actually makes things more reliable other than just going with a single host.
Lol indeed
A card needs kyc, while a simple wallet doesnt need it.
Some do. Some don't.
Well I'm not sure if you do use Claude but it can SSH into your machine
Personally i trust it enough to just do everything for me .
" I'm not sure if such complex setup actually makes things more reliable other than just going with a single host."
Was just simply explaining my setup which is nearly identical to OPs 🙃
Hi,
changing front end proxy takes some minuets/hours.
Changing the location of your 180 TB takes weeks.
And most locations in europe are not really dmca free -- also not netherlands or finland by the way.
So having the data somewhere save and the proxy somewhere ( as much as possible dmca free ) is the basically (only) right approach.
Everything else is just gambling hard.
If you lack of knowledge to do it yourself or of enough knowledge to tell it to your favorite AI to make sure that in + out traffic traverse only over the proxy, maybe you should search for another project...
Hello
We have that but only until 120TB. Is out of stock right now. If you wish that, we will verify and maybe we can do something related with that, just contact us.
We also have cheap dedicated servers with you can customize.

You can use reverse proxy (we have Ryzen VPS, Platinum VPS, Intel Xeon VPS)
Crypto payments including XMR and BTC are accepted

I don't think "media library" is the best primary description of your actual intended use.
It's likely an accurate description, though. I'm assuming it's a large collection of videos, so media library is apt.
What it likely is in more detail: Origin box for video piracy streaming site.
LOL
Don't forget "make no mistakes"
DM'd you back
Bulgaria and Finland are in the EU.
Moldova is also in the process of becoming a member
