Just to clear up some apparent confusion, we do not have any ‘transfer out’ fees or ‘registrar change’ fees, you are never limited to move your domains to another provider.
It seems the confusion in this thread comes from the ‘registrant change’ price listed for .LT domains. This is not our invention but a cost incurred by the registry at which we are directly accredited. This registry, like many others also do, has put a cost to a change of registrant, and thus we charge that cost too. If anyone feels different on the topic we're happy to start a dialogue, but I have literally just verified this with the actual registry.

Indeed, the registrant is the domain owner. These costs are therefore only relevant if you put in a command to change the registrant of record, and of course only for TLDs/registries which have these costs attached. Most do not as you can transparently see in the pricelist, but there are quite a few registries that have made this a paid action.
It's of course up to you, but we'd appreciate if you adjusted your earlier comments or at least referred to our later comment. Just in case people read it later and are given an incorrect picture.
Thank you for clarification. Earlier statement about transfer out fee voided. Please add explanation to the price list table about what is registrant change etc. This would clear any possible future blunders.

I used Openprovider for a while, and it was good, but I eventually found it cheaper to just go directly to Spaceship, which I believe is also fleshing out its API.
OpenProvider has changed how its packages work now as well. You used to be able to register and renew the same domain under one allowance, but they now use Domain Actions, so both registering and renewing a domain count as separate actions.
We've used Internet.BS and NameCheap, We personally prefer InternetBS and made the permanent switch rather quickly, they are much more willing to work with resellers, they are more aligned with our values. There are however, probably many more out there even better, but when you find something you like, why look further, oh and they definitely fit your criteria
