DeluxHost cutting FUP thresholds from Sept 24 — 15-25TB → 5-15TB on protected network =======We are writing to inform you that DeluxHost’s Fair Usage Policy thresholds will be updated effective September 24, 2026.
We previously increased these thresholds to provide customers with greater flexibility. However, following changes to the conditions applied by our upstream provider and the resulting increase in connectivity, protection, and traffic management costs, we must temporarily revise the thresholds applied to our protected network.
New thresholds on the protected network
The thresholds will change as follows:
VPS and VDS: from 15–25 TB to 5–15 TB per month;
Dedicated servers: from 50–70 TB to 70 TB per month;
Storage servers: unchanged at 20–30 TB per month;
Promotional offers: from 10–20 TB to 5–10 TB per month.
Monthly usage is calculated by combining all inbound (IN) and outbound (OUT) traffic generated during the calendar month. Where a range is indicated, the applicable value depends on the specific plan purchased.
These thresholds are not hard limits.=========

Free unprotected network option
Customers requiring different and generally higher FUP thresholds may request a free transfer of their service to a network or subnet without DDoS protection.
The following thresholds will apply on the unprotected network:
VPS and VDS: 15–40 TB per month;
Dedicated servers: 50–100 TB per month;
Storage servers: 25–50 TB per month;
Promotional offers: 15–35 TB per month.
These are also indicative thresholds and not hard limits.
The transfer can be requested by opening a ticket through the client area. There are no additional charges for changing the network profile itself.
Please note that the unprotected network does not benefit from the DDoS mitigation systems available on our main protected network. In the event of an attack, the service may therefore experience packet loss, increased latency, traffic restrictions, null routing, or temporary unavailability.
The transfer may also require an IP address change and a brief interruption in connectivity. We will provide the applicable threshold and all relevant technical details before proceeding.
