Ultra.cc (seedbox host) is prepping a VPS brand
Not affiliated with them, just passing this along since it seemed relevant to this crowd. Ultra.cc known for seedbox hosting is putting together a new VPS lineup and is asking for community feedback on specs/pricing before they finalize anything.

They're explicitly asking two things: which configuration you'd actually buy, and what you'd consider a fair monthly price for it. You can register interest directly here: https://ultra.sh/

Another AI generated site?
Do they intend to allow torrenting on the US infra?
Web design is a lost art
Personally I prefer these light, simple AI designs over the huge WordPress or Joomla themes from TemplateMonster which have been used by many companies earlier.
iLostArt
We put something together just to get the emails of the people interested. Ultra.cc and Ultraservers.com is both our brands - and we like to think that we have achieve good design with atleast Ultraservers.com website.
I can feel my laptop being strangled on most AI-slop sites I visit. LLMs love throwing in 150 billion animations and effects for a single page.
Though, I like Ultra.cc's regular site. It's simple.
Site is just fine, it’s just that LET can be hard to please. Also, btw, any LET-specific coupons for ultra.cc?
I think I got lumped in with the AI haters by mistake. I just wanted to know if you are going to allow torrents like your main product line.
Smart move. Helps make their services appear less nefarious. Removing seedbox references, replaced with "specialized app hosting" and soon, VPS offerings.
Unfortunately, no. It's getting even harder to get the stock of the drives right now. We barely managed to buy few hundred of them after months of waiting and allocation.
We are fine with it - as long as you don't receive DMCA. In case we receive DMCA we will forward it to you and ask you to comply within a certain timeline.
We genuinely think that we can offer great services in VM market as well. We run a tight at Ultra.cc and plan to offer the same at Ultra.sh as well.
Nice to see the new business venture Piyush. Pricing is a bit steep but waiting to see how the nodes perform later w.r.t network and iops when they are put out. Ultra has been a solid player in seedboxes for some time now. Good luck!
LMAO
It's a very good value for latest gen high performance hardware (considering the current hardware pricing)
I used their seedbox before, good speed and mostly automated.
Wish them good luck with VPS.
Thank you! Sounds weird to see me being called by my real name online.
We will be using exactly same network that we use for Ultra.cc in Singapore and in Amsterdam. At the same time we have setup the infra in NY, MIA, DAL and LA with same standards as it is in Amsterdam. So performance should not be a problem at all - and at the same time RAM is always dedicated with enough CPU resources to not make experience for other users on the node negatively effected.
Yes, given the prices of the drives and the RAM itself to build these machines these prices are great propisition in the market right now. I could have priced it much lower if there was a possibility of getting those components any cheaper.
Thank you! You will have the same experience here as well.
Let us know what you all would like to see changed in these offerings before we launch them in few weeks time!
Thank you!
Converting from grey area to legit business. Noice.
A fan of these pricing and configurations.
I do want to ask:
Any options to upgrade BW cap without having to upgrade the entire product?
Custom ISO?
V6 prefix size?
Support structure? (Never been an ultra.cc customer so this is my own curiosity)
Good luck with your launch!
That's reassuring. I have used the Lancer and Tin boxes before so I know about the ultra network.
Haven't had to open many tickets but they were prompt. Tickets have always been replied to within a day and only during BF sales do they get a little delayed of a few hours. But you won't have to send tickets that often anyway.
This is completely a new venture. We are not pivoting or anything - our idea is simple, we have all these locations and good infrastructure. We can utilise this infrastructure to offer similar experience in this VPS/Cloud business as well.
Thank you!
Any options to upgrade BW cap without having to upgrade the entire product?
Yes, we'd create bandwidth packs. However we are already thinking of offering higher traffic with those packages. We were initially planning to have CF Magic transit but that might not be very beneficial and will offer higher traffic caps instead. We will still offer in-line DDOS Protection though.
Custom ISO?
Yes.
V6 prefix size?
/64
Support structure?
Support is not something you'd have to worry about. We attend to 95% of our tickets within the first hour and same staff will help us with support at Ultra.sh as well.

We reached out to the team of LET to do the massive GA of 1000x 4GB Plans for one month. Lets see what they say. We want to charge 1$ for each order still to avoid spam or through manual process.
Time to get provider tag as well.
Looking forward to it Enon.
@PulsedMedia
The options avaliable at https://hostingby.design/vps-hosting/ looks way better.
that's a pretty spectacular grand opening promo, very nice!
Nothing against Dan and HBD. Dan is a very good friend. And, It's very hard to beat the Leaseweb VPS offerings.
Leaseweb offerings and our own offerings are completely different in terms of hardware and also the locations. We were initially exploring the idea of offering Leaseweb Plans but due to the limitation of what we want to eventually offer will not work out. For example, We want to be able to offer Floating IP's, Block Storage, Snapshots etc which we can't offer with the LW Plans.
Thanks! Let's see how it turns out to be.
completely different?
hbd: amsterdam, singapore, montreal
you: amsterdam, singapore, ny/dallas/miami/la
Yep - NY, Dallas, Miami and LA are more desirable location for US clientele. You forgot to point out the hardware part as well.
Thanks for the tag.
We should release the same numbers, just sanitized from spam and never reply ticekts.
Under 1 hour is impressive if they truly are comprehensive responses. We tried to get to that level, but it created more confusion than benefit for our end users. Will attempt again later.
and the CSAT data feed: https://pulsedmedia.com/data/v1/csat.json
We need to add the other numbers too on a feed.
Congrats to Ultra.cc for the pivot
