I have managed to meet with my friend who uses Outlook.
A legitimate email I sent him yesterday did go to his Junk Mail folder.
I suggested he may have some filter set to high. He has no clue about that, but knows from experience to check his junk folder every day.

People need to stop using Outlook! No other email client is so f*cked up.

Just did this test, and unfortunately arrived directly to spam

Are you guys making literally pennies or something? you using re-branded panel from an existing provider (including inbound), and using inter server for outbound?

What is actually done & managed entirely by namebig?

Haha, you're reading the comments, but not the original post? Did you not see DirectAdmin + Mailbaby mentioned in the post head?

Allow me to make this easier to understand. We entirely managed these plans; we use DirectAdmin servers with Mailbaby's outbound relay. We used to resell 20i plans, but have ceased doing so to deploy our own infrastructure.

Well not really, it was a genuine question as when you did use 20i, im not sure what the value you provided was.

Why is it a shock to be questioned, cool you dropped your own infrastructure you claim, where? what DC? how many servers? what specs? do you own your own IP ranges now?

Please prove me wrong, as all it seems is you further cheaped out on directadmin isntances using https://radwebhosting.com/.

They use 20i now, but they were using something else before. The only thing I have to say is their previous messages had around 60-120 seconds of delay. Now it's fast, less than 15 seconds. but sometimes there are minor issues, like relay delays that can take a long time ( 2-4 min ). That's it.

@NameBig I bought the plan when it was 5GB per mailbox. Just asking, is it still the same or not?

No, Mailbig no longer uses 20i; though, if you have an old plan, you may be on a 20i-based one; however, the migration is happening one by one, so it may take some time to transition from 20i to own managed one.

Okay, cuz the first IP was something else, if I remember, now it's changed to a 20i one, that's why I said that.

The new plans we provide are based on combined storage rather than per mailbox; however, if you have an old plan that states 5GB/mailbox, you will receive 5 x the number of mailboxes combined storage when you transition to our own controlled server.

Sorry, my mistake. Even before, it was on 20i, only the IP changed. I've used $20/month plans btw, most of them went to spam. But the $6/year one, nothing. I use it for my business stuff

I have tested several email systems and am sticking with mailbig for most.
Even though I was seeing a spam score of 0 in ProtonMail, some messages to an Outlook address and Outlook email client were ending up in Junk folder.
Doing more testing I think that Microsoft/Outlook were scoring the emails as junk only because of the sending Domain Name had only recently been registered (i.e. within the past few months.) Also any newTLDs (.xyz, .top, .fyi ) were being initially sent to Outlook Junk.
Using a .COM domain name registered in May this year I now see clean content (only text, no links etc) emails sent via MailBig landing in the Outlook inbox.
The MailBaby now being used by MailBig is about as good as it gets. If Outlook scans the incoming messages, and uses some domain name reputation, looks at the IPs, and other checks, then some emails will probably end up in Junk. We do not know what specific checks might cause that.

Go (big) with Mailbig, but be careful with content and the sending domain name.
