Big yikes. It's been a long time since BuyVM LV has been down this long. Things are getting a bit shaky with it after the sale to Cloudzy. But I want to believe in Fran. He's always done me right for the last decade+.

Seems like it's due to a dead switch, hopefully that's all that got broken
I know diddly squat when it comes to power stuff so once I get an RFO I’ll share that. I did confirm the new gear creeped up our usage though and it seems the strips we have give little breathing room.
Crane side was waiting on the network gear swap to see if we needed the power upgrade and I guess we have our answer. We will get that going in the next week or two.
Dead switch was just a bad/lost config so that wasn’t so bad.
Buyvm side should be much better with us still working through things.

I have a BuyVM NYC BGP VPS (for redundancy reasons) as a private VPN. NYC is still up.
I remember 2-3 weeks ago I was down, but was brought back online very quickly. I was worried the VPS was gone forever.
The issue is likely limited to Las Vegas; other regions are unaffected.
