Have anything similar but for singapore?
Got one more vps from Hostdzire, to support mostly.
Did you ever say anything to the effect that the renewal fee would remain unchanged for three years and that the email address could be modified?
Why we need to say that ? we clearly said price is subject to change,
Till now i have not even increased price, did we ? maybe i should increase it now ?
For email modification long ago we modified TOS, sent email, also informed in LET by saying we no longer allow it.
If you dont like dont buy, if you dont trust dont buy.
Buy from someone who you trust, you will find they also unable to satisfy you, because your expecation might be the problem.
I mean you did but if you sell servers for three years and suddenly decided to change the price after 2 years, this is no go. Saying the price is subject to change is not going to fix it. After three years yes but not before. I understand that nobody is going to take you to court, so you can do whatever you want even without stating 'subject to change' clause but I can only hope you will not do it.
But we have not increased price yet in any existing orders.
Did we ?
And in current times anything can happen, see hetzner, ovh etc.
Alot of provider increasing their existing order price.
But we are still holding and surviving.
TOS doesnt say 3 year or anything, 3 year we said in multiple replies, that upto 3 year price should not change but we also added disclaimer everytime that in events where only option will be to increase price then off course anyone will do it.
So dont blame us for something we have not done yet.
Correct, I did not say that you have increased. I just said (and did not blame) that if you sold a server for three years, you cannot change it and demand to pay more during this three year period. Pretty simple.
I only registered the account using a custom domain email because you stated that the email address could be changed later. Now that I no longer own that domain, my account is effectively out of my control. I registered the account after you made that promise, yet the terms were altered subsequently—you tell me, is that right?
That's not provider's fault that you no longer own that domain right? If you will use a custom domain for your email, register it for 10 years, and these issues doesn't happen.
Correct, we are following that for sure. thats why we have not increased price yet to our any service we offered here in LET, doesnt matter how cheap we sold.
But i must say nothing is guaranteed. but if we have to do it before 3 year, i will offer refund for remaining days.
I always try to play fair.
But you need to understand how it will effect after 3 year.
For leaseweb vps/server:
All leaseweb service has 4% price increase each year, which means 100$ product will cost us $112 after 3 year. so we must also increase after 3 year to align with leaseweb.
For own infra:
Same thing applies here as well, most of our racks are with leaseweb, and those are not with leaseweb also has similar price increase as per their contract.
+ Hardware price rising
So even in own infra i think after 3 years we need to increase price.
All this is because our price is so low, has very less margin,
If we start selling service by adding enough margin like others then i dont need to increase price even for 10 years.
So its like if you want to enjoy low price now, expect in future price will increase.
But if you want future guarantee, buy from someone who sells at high price, because they dont need to raise price for longer period because they are keeping enough margin.
Choose wisely. everything is in clients hand.
Let's go! @yoursunny
Yep, this is fine. Thanks for explaining.
There is option in whmcs to add email.
Its not like you want to change email just because you want to keep account active in hostdzire, if you do then simply add another account with new email in client area.
99% of users want to change email because they want to sell their service to another user.
And as per TOS we already dont allow that.
I can confirm that the domain is unrelated to the merchant. Claiming that the email address could be changed—only for that not to be the case—is unforgivable. I should have just used Gmail to sign up.
Maybe let people change. But the deal will stop recurring so people can't resell it on future value like it's long term bonds
Unhappy ? take refund of remaining days ? but dont force us to do something we stated already in TOS we dont do it anymore, else why we had to modify TOS and informed all users via email for new rule ? you had 7 days time, you didnt contacted us during that did you ?
Did you even read the email ?
You are claiming we said something in some forum post, but what about the email we sent ?
Why are you not talking about that ?
When will this offer end?
No need; I’m not here for a refund—I just wanted you to be aware of the situation.
Let me end now, i had enough today.
Edit: Offer is expired just now.
I know you dont want refund, why you will if price is so low ? but want to sell the service and make profit right ?
Thanks. I could resist it this time.
Yes i helped you save your money by ending offer
restock?
I do not intend to renew; instead, I am abandoning the account and the service because I cannot control them 100%.
Okay, thats good.
When and where the promise was made where it stated that email ID can be changed?
@HostDZire — People don't like price increases. Period. Once you start doing that, people might quit, not because of you, but because of trust with regards to other price increases which might be done again and again in future.
Yes, prices are being increased everywhere, out of your control. But worker salaries don't increase at the same rate. Life is harder day by day as we head into a great depression thanks to our greedy leaders. A price increase in your hosting would take away some of that little fun which I have in playing or donating servers, because simply put: it would be out of my fun budget, yet I must survive somehow.
We are also client of leaseweb and we dont like the price increase as well.
So we do what we can to avoid this for client.
But no one in world can guarantee you same price forever,
If anyone dont like they move right ? but guess what others price will be still higher than ours at that time
Very good psychiatrist will fix your depression, no issues.
I absolutely understand that.
Yes. I agree with you. It is exactly what I would do.
Not quite. That is an assumption with regards to an unknown future which is much harder to predict in our troubled times when everything changes so fast. Not everybody uses the same datacenter. Not every datacenter raises prices to same way or at the same rates or at the same times. Therefore I do not agree with you on this point.
