Purchased a VPS and am waiting for it to be activated.
You can't call something unmetered while monitoring usage.
GLWS
We are working on processing all pending orders
The 330TB is not a hard limit, but as known even hammering the 1G port 24/7 is 330TB
Thats not what your ToS says.
TOS and stated in an offer are two different things
Then fix your ToS. ToS is worth more than a piece of text on LET.
TOS are there for general use if not stated within an offer.
That is not how a ToS works but sure. Lets just do whatever we want.
I unseratand it as generally ToS apply unless offers says otherwise. Is it correct?
Yes, if an offer states X that is what the sale contract promises
TOS are there for general if I did not mention bandwidth for example.
You're full of shit but sure. You do you.
A person without valid argument resorts to personal attacks.
Have a nice day buddy
I don't get it, what's wrong with what they're saying?
There is nothing personal about this but oke.
Their ToS and offer are not compatible. You can't put water into an engine and make it run because you he said so.
It's still a little confusing, because you advertise "unmetered" on the dedicated servers on your website, but the ToS states an advisory limit of 75TB (FUP). Those dedicated servers don't say FUP applies in the order process.
So does FUP apply to those offers? If it does, it's not unreasonable to think that "unmetered" here is also due the same or lower 50TB VPS "advisory" limit (what does that even mean).
The fact I have clearly stated 330TB next to it which on a 1G maxed out 24/7 is the total that you can use is self explanatory.
That would've been my assumption too.
But since "unmetered without bandwidth mentioned" is not truly unmetered, I can see where the confusion arises.
Maybe if every offer explicitly specified FUP applies when it does, or the ToS stated "FUP applies unless specific bandwith limit is listed in offer", this could be avoided.
I'm not trying to neg you, and I don't think you deserved kait's ire over it either lol, just trying to clear things up. Thanks!
