Yes, slow drip of the rest over the coming months that "of 98" means that until the end of the year a total of 98 will drop.

  • Is 250MB of RAM enough to run lightweight torrent downloads? Or is this 250MB machine just for data storage and not intended for torrent downloads?

  • Deluge, rTorrent can work with 250MB on PM boxes. Tried them before.

On another note, @PulsedMedia will there be no more 250GiB SSD boxes then this August?

There are actually no limits on place except disk. For seedboxes.

€1.99/m seedbox is pretty good deal. €9.99/y 1TB storage box is also good for dumping backup (lol)

Yes, all of them support S3 storage -- just install your preference.

    https://wiki.pulsedmedia.com/wiki/S3_Object_Storage_on_PMSS

Many options. You can even build a high availaiblity cluster rather trivially.

I get it, that's a good way (from your perspective) to gain and keep attention because quite some people will look daily and/or follow your discord.

I suggest you at least offer a way to enter one's email address to get notified when you "drop" fresh stock.

Edit: How much is additional traffic per TB (and month)?
Reason I ask is that a storage box of x TB (disk) is next to worthless if egress traffic is limited to 250 GB.

    See: https://pulsedmedia.com/clients/index.php/store/the-eternal-vainamoinen

    Eternal Väinämöinen - Storage 2TB R5 10G (Starting from $2.30USD Monthly )
    Traffic Internet Ingress Unlimited 10Gbps, Egress 250GiB/Month @ 1Gbps then 100Mbps down to 25Mbps

It is a soft cap, once you exceed your limit, you will be throttled to 100mbps.

Extra Traffic purchased as an add-on looks like it costs $5.67 for 1TB/month, $14.99 for 2TB/month, etc.

The cheaper option is likely to buy an additional promo seedbox and take advantage of its higher traffic int/out AND the un-metered interconnect between pulsed media's internal network. and link to two via fuse or rclone.

    Eternal Väinämöinen - Seedbox 1TB R5 10G (Starting from $2.30USD Monthly)
    Traffic Internet Ingress Unlimited 10Gbps, Egress 10 000GiB/Month @ 10Gbps then 100Mbps down to 25Mbps

That's not what "sold out" means.

    Yes, with a big *.

Every server will be running from swap and all hosts on the node will suffer.

Can you run 256MB RAM without swap and without crashing?

Oh, you meant the guest would be using swap and the node would suffer from I/O. I thought you meant the host was using swap to oversell RAM.

But yeah, Alpine and rtorrent can easily fit in 256 MB without thrashing the disk. If every idiot tries to install Debian or Ubuntu though, it'll be a clusterfuck.

It's not a VPS though, so you're limited to 250mb for whatever applications you want to run, the OS overhead doesn't count. That said, the two nodes I checked each have 7 gigs of swap configured. One was about 50% utilized and the other 75%. Users can install into the raid array, but not the OS drive, so I don't think the swap is dragging node performance down. That said, it's possible to break out of the 250mb limit. I realized I was doing it by accident. I could see that having a more pronounced impact if other users are doing it.

I have waited more than 2 minutes for an email/service. I would suggest creating a ticket.

There was a bug and some of the 8TB Seedboxes are still pending provisining. While 99.9% are instant, sometimes delays occur and i think the email even says if not instant allow upto 48hrs.
