NOCIX cancelled my 4-year-old server and refused even a 24–48 hour recovery window for ~1.5TB data

Is NOCIX holding the OPs data ransom to extort processing fees for bounced payments?

If you're not going to read any OP, why should people reply?

  • did NOCIX cancel your server because their payment processor malfunction?

I went through a similar thing with Nocix Cancelled server after their payment gateways magically stopped working for me (I instantly opened a ticket about the failure). Luckily I Keep regular backups offsite and was able to keep my production services online with a mild maintenance period.

Nocix is since on my Do not use list as they only fixed the payment gateway issues after the server was in the dreaded cancelled state and "Unrecoverable".

That is what it felt like, why they are on my do not use list.

hey guys just bought a nocix server. It's an older model probably about 4 years old and it's running great so far.

  • That's crazy, your payment gets declined and server gets cancelled so you think they're extorting you for payment. I think they we're trying to get that payment before its wiped.

Honestly this sounds like a secret stash issue

  • This post caused NOCIX to raise its prices :D :D :D

Core 2 Duo with 4 GB RAM and 250 GB HDD is now 14$. LOL.

  • Backup with any provider is a must. You are not entitled to demand a service that you have not paid for, then expect the provider to accommodate your demands and excuses.

From the OP’s post, it looks like there was no money available to pay for the service, but plenty of excuses for the failed payment and demands to receive the service outside the agreed contract.

Sounds to me like OP excuses instead of payment processor multifunction
