Looking for Portugal VPS (4GB/8GB) - GeoIP issue with current provider

Looking for Portugal VPS (4GB/8GB) - GeoIP issue with current provider

Hey guys,

Looking for recommendations for a reliable VPS provider with physical servers in Portugal.

We're currently using ENodes, but our IPs are showing up as Tehran or Singapore on Google and eBay, which is messing things up for us. Need clean, native Portuguese IPs.

Looking for 4GB and 8GB RAM plans (Windows). Any solid providers you guys recommend that have accurate GeoIP?

Thanks

    Hey @webstyle007,

We're in Eygelshoven, NL, not Portugal, so if the physical location genuinely matters this isn't for you. But the problem you're describing is a GeoIP problem rather than a location problem, so it might be worth a look.

We set the GeoIP per individual IP, so a PT registration is something we'd do on request. That's the opposite of what you're running into now, where an IP randomly reads as Tehran or Singapore. Ours is set deliberately and we resubmit if a database drifts.

For the spec, our EPYC configurator at 2 cores with 4 GB RAM and 50 GB NVMe in RAID 1 comes to 6.59€/mo, or 5.93€/mo with code LET10. With 8 GB it's 9.19€/mo, or 8.27€/mo with the code. Windows works from 50 GB storage upwards, we pre-install the image and you bring your own license key.
