Best Leaseweb resellers ?

anisuranisur Member

I want to test Leaseweb. I am hearing good things about them; their price is great too, but they don't take individuals.

Is there any reliable Leaseweb reseller that offers Leaseweb plans without raising prices too much? Thank you.

    HostDZire, their Leaseweb infrastructure was not encrypted.

    Like mentioned Hostdzire is the go to provider for Leaseweb.
    They did get hacked but its not their Leaseweb nodes.

    Any HostDZire Alternatives? Since they don't have any new offers here.

    August 15 is India's Independence Day. HostDZire would normally have special offers then

    They're dealing with a lot right now, maybe they won't be able to offer much. But I would recommend waiting to see

    Hostdzire is currently an active Leaseweb reseller, but it heavily oversells its resources.

    I recommend https://hostingby.design/. I've heard from quite a few people that they have great VPS with AMD EPYC Milan processors. Their prices are excellent as well. The data center is Leaseweb. Their servers are located in Amsterdam and Canada, both in Leaseweb data centers.

    Just to be clear, Leaseweb has been known to oversell. This isn't something specific to HostDZire or any other reseller

    That may be true as a general claim about some Leaseweb services, but it doesn't mean it is true specifically for HostingBy.Design. I haven't seen any evidence that HostingBy.Design is overselling its Leaseweb servers. In fact, there are long-standing user reports of good performance from HostingBy.Design's Leaseweb servers.

    So unless you have a specific source or evidence showing that HostingBy.Design is overselling, I don't think it's fair to make that claim specifically about them.

    iirc HostDZire is directly reselling Leaseweb VPS. Leaseweb has full control over the node/hypervisor. I don't know anything about HostingBy.Design but we're probably talking about 2 different business models

    If it's leaseweb vps it doesn't matter if you even buy directly from leaseweb or reseller, quality is same.

    "vps are not on Leaseweb but their own infra". Please clarify. But the VPS servers are located inside leaseweb datacenters? Will I get the same Leaseweb global network performance? I have a Netcup VPS, its global network performance is bad. So I bought an OVH VPS a week ago, network is better, but the OVH CPU is too older generation to satisfy me.

    As reliable as any leaseweb reseller? If leaseweb goes down, it goes down.

  • @hyperblast said: not nice. 9€ is 15,39€

    That's because it's prorated for current month + next month (order date >= 10th). Price is still 9€/month.

    Its still not at Leaseweb though. If you're going to go non-Leaseweb in NL there are many more reliable options. You could go with Novacloud if you wish to be located in Eindhoven.

    hosting by design's owner has been on the wrong end of the law too. Take it as you will. Same owner had seedbox.io and walkerservers under their wing.

    As others have noted - We invoice from the 1st to the 1st, if you order on the 10th or later you also get invoiced for the next month, it is in the text on your screenshot right above the billing cycle - We're still hunting for a better way of showing this, but I haven't found one as of this time.

    TLDR; Order today and your instance is due on the 1st of October

    All VPS instances on our website at this time is from Leaseweb, in all of the regions - It is true that we used to have VPS's on the website from our own site in Eindhoven, those are coming back once we have the next batch of servers online, but it will be clearly noted which is from where - Our own site will also be unmetered

    We actually provision 30TB for each of our VPS's, I should get around to updating our website/product, it has been 30TB for quite a while

    Going for hacked providers is not the best idea.

    • Lack of competence;
    • Criminal carelessness;
    • No company policy for employees (if it is not 1-man show)

    Without VERY thorough 3rd party audit after hacking incident there should be no trust. No matter the cost. You risk your time, data and money.

    This isn't true. They offer VPSs from two locations, one is their own hardware and network in Eindhoven and another is the Leaseweb offerings from the AMS-01 centre.

    Actually, I even got this quote from the owner himself so have a look:
