Would You Be Interested in VPS with Dedicated Static Residential IPs in Vietnam?
Hi everyone,
I'm considering launching a new VPS service in Vietnam using dedicated static residential IP addresses rather than traditional datacenter IPs.
The idea would be:
🇻🇳 VPS physically located in Vietnam
🏠 Dedicated residential ISP IP for each VPS
🔒 Static IPv4 address assigned exclusively to the VPS
🚫 No shared/NAT IP
⚡ VPS with KVM virtualization
🌐 Good connectivity to Vietnam and international networks
📡 Residential ISP network rather than a typical datacenter ASN/IP range
Multiple IPs could potentially be available depending on demand
I'm curious whether there is actually a market for this among LowEndTalk users.
Potential use cases:
Websites and applications that need a residential IP
Testing services from a residential network
SEO/localization
Remote access
VPN/proxy-related applications
Services where a traditional datacenter IP is not suitable
I'm mainly interested in genuine feedback before investing in the infrastructure.
Would you personally be interested in a VPS with a dedicated static residential IPv4 in Vietnam?
1 vCPU / 1–2 GB RAM / 20–40 GB SSD / 100–500 Mbps / 1 dedicated residential IPv4
Thanks!

I think a VPS with residential IP does have a market but the abuse potential is much higher. The extra revenue you can make probably isnt worth the headache of handling abuse and reputation issues !!
Edit: I am not a pro in this matter. These are just my thoughts !!
Maybe something like $15/m (with 1 year commit) would deter abuse
I think there is def an interest but it is true in relation to abuse.
residential ip yea, but .. a vn resi ip? i dunno
sounds good
give me a one of them
but, Vietnam has 1mb bandwidth guaranteed for international traffics..
I want to try.
Yes I would depending on the cost.
A resi ip is kinda risky if its on a vps but it's an interesting concept
We also have multiple PCs set up at home to provide residential IP rentals. They feature dual 2686v4 CPUs, 128GB of RAM, and a GTX 1070 GPU. The price is only around $120. Is anyone interested?
My 2 cents: IP reputation vendors (like Scamalytics or MaxMind) actively scan residential IPs for open ports, always shield your dedicated static residential IPs behind a firewall with ACL or a public reverse proxy setup, or make it dynamic. Otherwise, it's only a matter of time before the IP reputation degrades to the point where it loses its core value proposition.
In Vietnam, IP addresses typically change after seven days, so that issue almost never occurs.
That would be great. It works well though for residential IP
