opinion

i bought a server from webtropia
cant change boot orde cause it doesnt come with the password or ilo rights to change it

and the wear and tear level of the ssd boot drive is only at 59% yet they wont replace it

the drive is functional and passed smartctl checks.
If the drive fails, we can offer a replacement.

is this normal or would it be replaced at another provider

What do you think how the process with SSDs is? Especially at budget providers?
Do you think they throw away thousands of working drives each year just because customers like you don't wanna use them anymore?

Also, since you are using RAID and also do backups, this should not be that important either, right?

    Yes

For the right price, maybe. Not for €50/mo. I got worse drives from bigger providers
in the past. You do have backups for such cases, right?
