I've only got $4.99...
Doesn't even cover the cost of my KS-A the end is nigh !!!
You forgot the $100 setup fee.
At least no cuts in network speed. That would be a nogo.
Sigh. BYO RAM option when?
Marrying a Thaiwanese girl might be an option, so she can send wafers direct from TSMC.
That's different wafer, dude. Should have married Samsung heir and get few TBs of ram
Probably just affecting the Kimsufi maybe SYS range.
I don't think that OVH is gonna run into a "shortage" on other ranges.
They are putting all the ram in KS-7
They just need to download more RAM (I mean, they do have the pipes, they just need to get into action).
They had dedis without disks, a few years back, to reduce cost.
RAM doesn't seem to be feasible though.

Renamed api names, same product.
Anyone got one of those? Do they come with 10G lottery?
For network, I've only got 10Gbps download on SYS-STOR and SYS-1.
For harware, I've got 2 x 512GB -> 2 x 1 TB NVMe SSD & E-2136 -> E-2236 CPU with SYS-1.
Much ado about nothing
Decided to attempt to gamble and I have never seen so many out of stock KS servers...
Thus my attempt was short lived.
We have to wait for November and hope they do the deals again
which location?
Hopefully.. but I guess may not be same this year.
27th for the US, IS a Saturday for me and not a Friday...
With so many of the KS range sold out, are they maybe not making them available cos they are retiring the range / releasing new generation in range?
I donβt think so. They just use/move the hardware on higher tiers. Even with their ADV they are struggling to keep stock up. Waiting much longer for some ADV-4 already, than initially displayed.
I miss the days when the providers with great offerings were less well known
True, but it is what it is. Kimsufi and others were and will always be just a way to keep hardware running for a few years longer and not having too many empty cages.
The only real complain I have is that OVH allows so many bots grabbing any Kimsufi sale stock.
Looking to buy a 10G/10G KS-6 or KS-7
Sooner you accept, better it becomes to sleep at night.
Since almost 2 years, its always been a battle of the bots with OVH.
Unless OVH implements a person customer limit of X units/ no refounds, this will always be a problem.
