Worst of the Worst VPS Providers to Avoid?

Worst of the worst VPS services / companies. Reading these forums, I can see a lot of complaining about long downtimes and no replies to tickets, etc. What do you think are the worst ones?

    Chunkserve, Delux Host and Cloudcone

  • Hard to tell who's the worst. There's a load of bad ones for sure. But to single one out, hard

I've always kind of wished the yearly provider poll included an optional worst instead of just the best but require a reason for the votes to be counted. Maybe even nullify that user's best votes if they voted for a worst but not specify the reason... Why I want a reason is because we all can agree downtime/heavy steal/etc is bad but some will say things that won't apply to everyone like being only IPv4/6. Plus, I don't want it to be just provider bashing, the reason(s) being specified on a poll will be excellent feedback that the provider should take seriously to better themselves.

i can't tell you the worst VPS providers, but i sure can tell you the best, aka known as "The Big 3" 😉

    1. CharityHost - known for their generosity and commitment to user privacy. If you need a vps for privacy, there is no better place to get it than Charityhost

    2. Veloxmedia - known for their persistence in keeping their customers happy and making sure plans don't get cancelled and stay up for as long as possible. Also known for giving 32 GB of RAM for $5.

    3. ihostart - known for their 100% SLA uptime thingy and their use of the most premium datacenters. They're also known for accidentally refunding $22k in Bitcoin instead of $22 to a customer, but letting them keep it because they're just such chads.

    Cloudcone for sure.

    for me
ColoCrossing = Server downtime on another level. They should choose another business.

Cloudcone = Delete my VPS without anything. When I asked them, they said it was their rogue employee who did that, and the FBI caught him. My advice: Write some GAY drama MFO

  • No replies to tickets may be a good thing.
I have one in Hong Kong, uptime over 1227 days.
    I never submitted a ticket.

Avoid all of them. Just run your services on your grandma's old PC in your basement.
