Dynadot vs Openprovider vs NameSilo vs Namecheap: Which Registrar Handles Copyright Complaints Best?

Solar9Solar9 Member

Hi,

Has anyone here used Dynadot or Openprovider for a grey-area website (adult streaming, movie/anime streaming, gaming, or other copyright-sensitive content)?

I'm curious about your real-world experience with them.

  • How do they handle copyright complaints?

  • Do they enforce KYC aggressively?

  • Do they investigate obviously fake or abusive copyright claims, or do they act on them right away?

  • Will they contact you first and give you a chance to respond, or do they suspend/take down the domain without notice?

  • Have you ever had a domain frozen or locked by them?

Also, how do Dynadot & Openprovider compare to NameSilo & Namecheap when it comes to handling these kinds of websites? Would you say they're better, worse, or about the same?

And lastly, if anyone uses all this domain register for the grey area field, how will you rank them best to worst – Dynadot vs. Openprovider vs. Namecheap vs. Namesilo?

I'm looking for firsthand experiences rather than assumptions.

Thanks!
