Greencloud's Premium vs Budget VPS? Post your YABS here

edited 9:05AM in General

Was lurking around and came across @freelanceonline's comment:

Has anyone benchmarked GreenCloud’s Budget KVM Sale against Premium KVM Sale in the same location? Is Premium noticeably faster under sustained CPU, disk, and network workloads, or is the difference mainly newer hardware?

That got me intrigued since I had wondered the same thing before. I always assumed the main difference was the Milan vs Rome CPUs, 5GB disk size difference and plus maybe a better FUP on the Premium VPS plans.

I had posted a Premium VPS YABS on LET a while back, and if it wasn't for serververify.com I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have found it this quickly haha.

Initially, I wanted to reply in that thread, but it got closed, so here I am. Hopefully someone has a YABS from a Budget VPS they can share so we can compare.

Think it depends on location. Budget has some e5v4s, some rome and some milan, based on the sales page. Premium also looks like it gets a bit more storage/bw by default?

No geekbench because low RAM and this is backup node
Note: connectivity on SG DC1 (@xtom) is much better than DC2 (leaseweb). Cross-continent could exceed 1.7gbps
