Cheap VPS outside EU/EEA
in Requests
Considering my country will start to mandate ID verification for social media and 18+ sites, I'm looking for the following:
VPS to run Wireguard on with:
- 1Gbps preferred, 100mbps will also work
- 1TB traffic
- 2GB RAM preferred, 1GB will also work
- Server location outside the EU/EEA (countries close to EU like Balkans, Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia, Azerbaijan preferred)
I don't really care about the specs, the server will be purely used to for Wireguard (alternatively Amnezia if 2GB RAM is possible).
I already looked at GCore Baku Server for 39€/year which looks pretty promising but I was wondering if anyone had something cheaper in mind

I have two VPSs available for transfer. One is realtoxmedia.de at €8/year with 2TB monthly bandwidth. The other is dasabo.com at €13 for two years with 20TB monthly bandwidth. Both come with IPv4 and IPv6 addresses. Let me know if you're interested!
Has dasabo not raised his prices to something like 30EUR/y?
Hey, Hostry has Kyiv outside the EU/EEA: 1 vCPU, 1 GB RAM, 10 GB NVMe and a 1 Gbps port for $6/month.

@vsys_host has Ukraine for 48 usd/year

@hostal has Albania for ~35 eur/year (but only 80mbps port)

@alexhost has Moldova for ~41 eur/year

Just giving you options to consider. Nothing really that much cheaper than GCore.
There are couple more hosts in Balkans/Moldova, although either I had some issues in the past or I'm uncertain about their future stability.
No, it expires at the end of this December—it was on a 2-year billing cycle.
What countries are those in? Is Germany outside of the EU/EEA?
Düsseldorf and Nuremberg, Germany. As for the dasabo VPS, its IPv6 address shows up as Russia in Google Play.
So, post December the price will be different.
Not really. They've actually been asking me to renew since June, seemingly at the regular price, but I just don't want it anymore. If no one takes it off my hands, I'll just let it expire.
Take back what I said earlier—Fuck! The renewal price actually jumped to €60! I just checked it, so I definitely don't recommend taking this one. You can go with the other provider instead.
