Looking for Hourly Cloud Provider for Coder.com (US West / Tokyo)
Hello everyone,
I am currently looking for a cloud/VPS provider to host a Coder.com dev environment with Terraform, with the following requirements:
- True hourly billing (destroy compute/shelving to stop billing, only pay for storage during stopped hours)
- Dynamic / Ephemeral IP or NAT (IP must be detached when stopped to avoid idle IP fees)
- Reliable Terraform provider / API support
- Good connectivity to South Korea (US West, Tokyo, etc.)
I checked TierHive, but ruled them out due to limited server size choices and API constraints. I am currently considering Hetzner Cloud (US West), but I'm looking to see if there are other suitable options.
If anyone has recommendations or suitable providers for this setup, please let me know or send me a PM.

We can offer you:
Hourly billing (no charges once instance is destroyed, 2 free snapshots are included).
Phone number verification is required to use hourly billing.
IP address not billed when instance is destroyed (unless using reserved IP).
Primary IP will change when a new instance is provisioned.
Reliable API support
I believe the latency should be better than Hetzner, Hillsboro in your case.
