Real question is, this is one field where AI excels, no vibe AI code project, working within boundaries of an existing system to make plugins.
Why wouldn’t ppl just AI code these? none of them are advanced
AI is good at building plugins within an existing system, but generating the code is only part of the work. You still need testing, QA, debugging, security checks, maintenance, and platform knowledge.
OpenAI or Claude costs around $200/month. Even assuming one month of development, that is $200 plus your time. At the bundle price, it would take around four years to break even on AI cost alone.
The price also includes support, updates, and troubleshooting—not just the code.
I think your overestimating the models needed for this, Coder’s AI can handle most of these taskes sub $5 pretty well-rounded. Your asking for yearly maintenance seems logical for an AI application and i’m fairly against AI dev.
Sure, but that’s why there are 10’s of models and platforms designed for this, not to mention aslong as u work within boundaries of the platforms plugin system, you don’t need to be concerned about vuln’s as they will be at the application level not your plugin.
