Running at dedirock 5, colocrossing 5, ovh 2 and many providers with just 1 vps.
However I am slowly moving to just a few dedicated servers at ovh/colocrossing vs gazillion vps-es at the let deal providers. The dedi's can run containers much more predictable and economical. A small 1C.1G.40G container on a cheap dedi, is most efficient way to run a small vps. I can run about 75 vps's(containerized) on a ovh baguette or colocrossings buffalo chicken at 10 a 15 euro per month. That makes it about 20 cents per month per vps. That is some cheap chicken baguette.
Most global hosting infrastructures primarily rely on hardware from Dell PowerEdge or HPE (Hewlett Packard Enterprise) ProLiant servers. For cloud-based setups, providers heavily lease infrastructure from hyperscalers like AWS (Amazon Web Services) or DigitalOcean.
Who even still uses shared hosting?
