  I ran some CentOS 7 DNS server for like 950 days before I finally restarted it. That was a BuyVM server.

  Raw
  Unpatched
  Not lubed
  Just a 512MB box and an EOL OS VS the world.

  You don't need fancy failover and self healing serious setups if you're reckless and retarded.

  (but nowadays I use Onidel for production a lot since they're a true competitor to the likes of Vultr and BuyVM and whatnot.)

  That onidel replication level is I think almost on par with HPE Nonstop system

  Kinda sucks, we lost our uptimes of 1000+ days on electrical maintenance a couple of years back, and now with our update cadence, LPEs etc.

  We used to have a lot of even seedbox servers with ~1000 day uptimes at one point.

  That's why you should collaborate. Them and HA + crazy NVME could benefit from your cost-effective data center. Then, you could try to make another line of product dubbed as high availability *box
