Looking for a high-frequency VPS in Japan
Hi everyone,
I am currently using HostHatch's 2C4G HFC plan. I am very satisfied with it; the only downside is that I'm running out of memory. Does anyone have a spare 3C12G plan available for transfer?
so I am looking to migrate to a new provider. Below are my requirements and usage patterns.
Key Requirements:
- CPU: 2 to 3 vCPUs (The single-core Geekbench 5 score is greater than 2,000. preferably with at least one dedicated/non-shared core).
- RAM: 8 GB or more.
- Storage: Minimal needs; ~50 GB is more than enough.
- Bandwidth: Minimal needs; 1 TB/month is plenty.
- OS: The TOS must allow running Windows (bringing my own license or template is fine).
Terms & Budget:
- Billing Cycle: Annual payment accepted
- Budget: $150/year.
- I realize that hardware prices are skyrocketing right now. Is it still possible to achieve this price point?
Usage Profile & Workload:
My average CPU usage is very low (the server sits idle most of the time), but I do need it to handle occasional short bursts of performance. The main driver for this upgrade is strictly RAM-bound.
Here is the historical CPU usage graph of my current VPS for your reference:

The brothers at kuroit can hook it up @kuroit @ManishPant
@RIYAD (host4fun) and @MikeA (extravm) should have Ryzen VPS servers in Japan.
Maybe they would be interested in offering some here.
@kuroit should be good too, but they look entirely out of stock in Japan currently + I'm not sure what CPU they use there.
Thanks for the heads-up. I actually checked with H4F, but their rates have increased. They want $36/month for 8GB of RAM, which completely blows past my budget.
I'm currently checking out the other two providers mentioned.
oof, i guess the prices must've massively increased for them as well...
