verycloud - poor service

saamkuusaamkuu Member

I bought a bundle of servers on verycloud.fr

The terms of service clearly state that their FUP allows for 100 TB of traffic per unit; if this limit is exceeded, the speed is reduced to 100 Mbps for the remainder of the month, and this applies to only one unit.

Two weeks after the purchase, I suddenly received a notification about instability on the servers I’d bought there; it turned out they’d capped my speed at 50 Mbps. At that time, traffic usage on the heaviest server was 14 TB, while on the least-loaded one it was only 6 TB.
I contacted support, and they told me I had been throttled.
I cited their own rules, and they acknowledged their mistake, unblocked my speed, apologized, and said I was right and that they wouldn’t limit me again as long as I followed the rules.

A week later, I noticed that my servers were limited again (even though usage hadn’t had time to increase significantly), and this time they aren’t responding at all.

    100TB? Consider OVHer

What is your use case to consume that much BW in such short time on a VPS?

VPN, i have a need for petabytes, but I distribute it across a large number of nodes, with only 20-40 TB/month on each.
