Ideally you should block users in the country you host in but agaist registrar abuse you cant really use this.
We're only accredited for .st, .vg, .gd, .gl, .fo and a few other obscure options. But we are not nor do we advertise being "bulletproof", plenty of non US based hosts to fit that bill. If you're just blatantly stealing content from others and monetizing it for yourself that's not who we are built for. We are of course resistant to non official complaints as much as we can but there have been a couple cases where people start crying to the ST Registry, for example, and now we have to answer to them and assure them we have already been looped in and checked on compliance.
Yeah, MannDude is reliable and good for free speech + not arbitrarily suspending domains or servers for potentially "controversial" content, but I didn't mean to insinuate that Incognet was here to help anyone violate copyright law (or other laws, for that matter).
Btw I'm pretty sure that he follows a "law of the land" policy with regards to freedom of speech; e.g., stuff you can put on US-based servers/hosting is different and more liberal compared to on, say, Sweden-based or Netherlands-based servers/hosting. But @MannDude correct me if I'm wrong.
Thanks for the reminder, and this is an old post. Also, we are hosting the mod platform only, and piracy is no longer of interest to me, and it has been shut down. We start a new community to host the mod platform.
Ok bullet proof is a big word. But that’s the perception I got. Says good things.
Why does everyone misunderstand what bulletproof means? Bulletproof means they'll host anything for you. Any genuine bulletproof host will shrug their shoulders if you host child porn, terrorist recruitment material, C2s, massive piracy sites at the TPB scale, and all other sorts of staggeringly-illegal content. You don't need something that hardcore just to stop false abuse complaints. All you need is a host that actually cares about you and cares about the letter of the law.
If what you want to host isn't blatantly illegal, what you're looking for is a free speech host. They won't break the law for you, but they also won't take anything down unless they are legally forced to.

internet.bs is no more kind of bulletproof. Earlier they were a Bahamas country legally incorporated. Now they are part of CentralNic UK group (Team Internet). And UK companies are neither dmca-ignored nor bulletproof anymore.
