Any update guys! I was waiting since last night

The image proceeds to show both images at the same day Monday july 6th while time is flowing

Stay safe people. The time variance authority might be coming for y'all for the disturbance in time caused by this.

On a serious note though: Guys and gals please stay safe with your money.

    Newer messages are on top

could be but still doesn't explain what @emgh has said above.

Although notice 2 of the replies misses a space between name and ”owner” and 1 has a space

Just never do anything involving money on Whatsapp or Telegram unless you know the person and this will never happen.

I think that service transfers are pretty risky in general these days. Even if you don't get scammed, there's a higher and higher chance that the provider will cancel the plan you're on or raise the price at the end of the billing period. This is just a general thought, it has nothing to do with FiberState specifically.

I'm generally not very much into the whole practice due to valuing my privacy but in my opinion transfer offers where never that much of a problem. Once someone openly posts what they want to transfer there's a lot of eyes on the whole thing making scamming at least somewhat awkward and practically a surefire way to burn your (eligible therefore aged) account.

With all the stupid Search this... Search that... posts it's easy to keep the whole thing out of the public though (or in case of that specific genius that was to lazy to even check LET and therefore directly put some telegram contact in the request off of LET completely).

If there's a raise in price or the whole thing gets discontinued is obviously another risk but i don't think that's too bad since you shouldn't really be paying 100s for the transfer anyways. Paying big $$$ for a transfert is pure scalper (or scalper-support) territory. Transfers were really just being nice to the community by giving people a chance to take stuff you'd otherwise just let expire. The fee being mostly just a little bonus to compensate you for the time.

Yeah, a little request from a community member (not some random dude that signed up yesterday and can't be arsed to even check if someone replied to his request) doesn't hurt anyone either but the whole bazaar style trading is a kinda new-ish thing.

There's always potentially a risk if one purchases a service transfer from a user on the forum, but the potential risk increases significantly if the seller doesn't fulfill the requirements to offer a service transfer

I also don't see why people would treat LET as some kind of dedicated trading platform. @OP seems to be one of those swap email traders (https://lowendtalk.com/discussion/comment/4821427/#Comment_4821427). My overall sympathy is pretty much zero.

    Thanks, we had missed this

@angstrom My suggestion: 3-party DM whenever executing service transfer(if provider in LET). Provider ACK whether the service is transferable or not

Also requires 3rd parties to put in actual work. Ain't nobody got time for that... Especially not when the sole reason is braindead lemmings behaving like braindead lemmings because stopping the drooling for just a second would require effort. It's like really, really thank- and pointless.

Okay yup this pretty much confirms it. The image is fake. Time is flowing backwards from 6:15 to 5:30 to 5:28 to 4:38 then 4:03 while remaining the same date (consecutively)

Time might only change one time in decrement like say 6 AM to 4 PM but then 4 PM cant go to 3 without going the next date but the image shows the same date. He doesn't even own the server to begin with

Thus, the image is fake. #lowenddetective

These images are fake, real screenshots were taken but then edited. For example the "next due date" says Friday July, 23rd. July 23rd is a Thursday. Anyhow, there was enough bread crumbs for us to locate the source which has been suspended. Please open a ticket on your active FS account with us so we can help you out on this.

Does the person you have suspended, actually own the server with those specs?

yes, real screenshots were taken from the account but then edited such as ticket title, what our staff replied, name of the customer, email address, server due date, etc. There was enough not changed for us to figure out the source.

Good to know. I hope that the @OP could get their server then by being in contact with you and hopefully they are more cautious next time.

This reflects good on you as a provider as well for taking things in your own hands as well, I am a bit impressed. Good luck for the future! @fiberstate :-D

And how exactly do you know you didn't suspend the wrong customer? How do you know the screenshots weren't stolen? How do you know the OP isn't just trying to get a scammer enemies server suspended/stolen? How are you just transferring someones server without them confirming with you via ticket?

This is disgusting. No provider should transfer someones server like this without prior written consent. Just a cheap (and really dangerous) attempt at LET boners. Sets a really bad precedent I personally would never want to get anywhere near to.

Honestly, you don't want either of these guys as a client.
Both OP and the dude who ran off with his money are cut from the same cloth.

OP was looking to "buy" an account (https://lowendtalk.com/discussion/comment/4821427/#Comment_4821427) with an email - specifically targeting you/your network or company. I'd be really concerned welcoming him through the front door. Who knows, maybe OP and the other guy are one and the same. LOL

Sure it worked this time but one can only hope that one realizes how badly it could've not worked. The scammer got caught because of their own incompetence and (+1 for fiberstate for robinhooding the server)

If anyone takes the moral of the story from this to do the same thing, they have a better chance of winning a lottery. @OP must be incredibly lucky that things worked out but if you feel so lucky I recommend doing something else.

Following better precautions, some of which discussed within the thread on how to trade (if absolutely must be) are recommended like trading with known members of the community, to be more cautious with money etc. hopefully.

That being said, I am happy for the @OP because although they really did blunder a lot but in the end, things worked out in the end and lets hope that they and all of us learn a lesson with it without anyone having to pay the price for this lesson.

We are not transferring a server. We cancelled it for being used to scam a victim, thus it would be available and would be given to the @OP. We are also not going to post all of our findings of sensitive account(s) info that prove these findings to LET.
