    I recently purchased the HostVDS-2 plan with the "Unlimited Shared 10 Gbps" network add‑on, which is active on my server.

    However, I'm currently facing this error on my server:

    "This server exceeded its network quota, so bandwidth has been temporarily reduced. It should clear within 24 hours."
    

    I'm a bit confused because I specifically upgraded to this plan to avoid any bandwidth limitations, but it seems the server is still hitting a quota and getting throttled.

    I've already opened a support ticket with the provider, but I wanted to share my experience here and see if anyone else using the same plan has encountered a similar issue.

    Has anyone with HostVDS-2 and the Unlimited Shared 10 Gbps network plan experienced unexpected throttling or quota limits?

    Regarding the network plan, you are currently using the Unlimited Shared 10 Gbps option. This is a shared network plan, so the available bandwidth is shared between multiple customers. While it allows higher peak speeds, temporary speed limiting may be applied if a server consumes a large amount of traffic over a certain period of time. This is the expected behavior of the shared network plans.

    If you need guaranteed bandwidth with no traffic-based limitations, we recommend switching to one of our Dedicated network plans. With a dedicated plan, the advertised bandwidth is guaranteed regardless of your traffic usage.

    You're right, the India location is currently unavailable. We've completely ended our partnership with the previous data center, and the old location has been decommissioned.

    We're preparing a relaunch in a new Tier III facility with new hardware. As soon as everything is ready, we'll post an update here.

    Introducing Regular HostVDS Updates

    👋 We'd like to share more often what's happening at HostVDS. From now on, we'll be posting regular updates about new features, infrastructure improvements, and other changes as they go live.

    Let's start with the control panel.

    We've significantly redesigned the server management page. Billing, metrics, network settings, security, and console access are now organized in one place, making navigation much more convenient.

    We've also refreshed the mobile version of the control panel, making it much easier to manage your servers from a smartphone.

    🌍 And one more update: the control panel is now fully available in Spanish.
