I'm searching for a European or German provider that offers a performant VPS with a hybrid NVMe and HDD storage setting in one server, any tip and help is highly appreciated!
Already had extraordinarily intense searches, but with very little success up to now.
A storage server is not an option.

- Layer7.com - offer nearly what I am seraching for, wrote to them this morning for possible feature adjustment, did not hear back until now.
- Oping.eu - have it in the pipeline, but will not start before September 26 releasing it.
- Netcup.de - been there, done that - not an option any more or me.

I do have a German VAT registration number and need
- either a national German invoice with VAT or
- an invoice from an European provider without VAT > "VAT Reverse Charge".

I would recommend going with @layer7
They are probably one of the most reliable options you have considering you are going to be locking in for 3 yrs.
I know of 0ping, they deadpooled and disappeared and now they are back randomly. So definitely not reliable. Would not recommend them.

@gbzret4d : thanks a lot for ... how you call that? ... pointing these providers here - I checked Alwyzon, Advinservers (no plans available right now), berohost, layer7 and onidel, I already checked before, the market for this special config is very thin and I understood, that not by searching but only by getting in contact with customer support or here in the forum I will be successful.

im an active customer or i was in the past and i never had any kind of problems. quality is excellent for all the mentioned ones. Ask them for custom offer
Does it have to be preconfigured with a hybrid architecture or is it fine if it's a separate NVMe with an additional HDD? Because you can use bcache or dm-cache to create your own hybrid drive.

@gbzret4d - that is what I really love and appreciate about the forums here and elsewhere in the net: the still a bit 'archaic-anarchic' way of exchanging, helping each other out for the 'price' of mutual help and support, the spirit of teamwork or Open Source - etc not monetizing every square inch ...

Maybe because due to the simple but as well sad fact, that not anyone will be able to afford AI ...
@forest - wow yeah, that's a pretty good idea, which I will keep in mind. - This is the soil for and the concept of creativity: when we lack something to achieve a goal, we are 'forced' to improvise - and often enough good or even better things arise from that! –
... And on the other hand: cobbler stick to thy last - I tend to try out everything new and thereby loose/lost my main path way too often. I need to concentrate and let the provider do, what he can do best: orchestrating the complex fabric of IT ...
@zejjnt: a provider for whom the customers are even vouching - it seems to me, that this provider must have done a lot of things the right way and have a very healthy and positive service-oriented attitude ...
Or they sold people some $7/y VPS. This is LET after all. Everyone loves $7/y VPS.
And customer service is excellent, don't really know what else there is to say
(That downtime was intentional and flagged for way ahead of time BTW. Hetrixtools is set to 60 seconds so there are false negatives.)

That is, what I was looking for in the last months here too, but was not yet ready to know exactly what I wanted and needed - and now is summertime - BF, X-mas, Valentines Day and Easter are definitely too faaaaar away - sniff
