racknerd chicago(hostpapa) issues

for the past couple of days my vps located in racknerd chicago area(which is hostpapa) has been offline more than online. Does anyone have any idea exactly what is going on there?

    yes but i was curious if anyone has heard anything other than the node is having issues that i am getting. right now i am unable to ping any of hostpapas stuff over there....i do not even get to chicago dc on hostpapa at all with mtr or traces which hints at a larger issue.

    Hi @hescominsoon – Thank You for bringing this up.

    This is related to a switch issue impacting one of our racks in Chicago. We believed this to have been resolved yesterday during the holiday, though it appears that some issues are occurring again today.

    Our team is actively working closely with onsite at this time to evaluate the best path forward, with the goal of ensuring this is permanently resolved, including the possibility of a full switch replacement if needed.

    To be clear, this is not impacting the entire Chicago location in general, but rather one specific rack within CHI. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience here, and we’re working to get this fully stabilized.
