Looking for storage server,
Space 80+ TB
Location, ram, cpu is not important.

Depending on your bandwidth needs, we can offer you object storage at $4-5/TB

This sounds like colo or cold storage territory, especially if it is long term.

  • Providers I remember have big storage servers like this:

    Hetzner
    OnlyServers
    HostDZire
    Gorillaservers
    OVH

80+ TB is way expensive even for pure object storage not mention storage server. Better to replicate only needed data than whole NAS, or buy hardware and rent colocation.

    It costs $151, not $130.

Why not a tape machine? Do you need hot access? Cost wise this is just a handful tapes and a used LTO4 or 5 machine, about half the price of your storage (but used).

    They provided me discount.

But, do you have any servers with newer cpu ?

Idea is when NAS goes offline, that we can continue live tv on storage server.
    Pozdrav!

I recommend you add some SSDs, this sounds like a very heavy operation on HDDs especially in a RAID60 or similar with like 100 IOPS total
