Anyone here using Sillicomnetwork? Reliable or skip?

Hej everyone,

I have a quick question: How legit and reliable is the hosting provider Sillicomnetwork? A friend of mine has already booked a bunch of packages with them, but let’s just say my buddy is very trusting, while I’m rather skeptical. I didn’t even bother bringing up the lifetime deals, because those are always fake anyway. I mean, 'Lifetime' ultimately just means as long as the company or the offer exists. But that's not even the point here, and it looks like that offer is getting discontinued anyway.My main concern is whether you actually get reliable webhosting there.

What do you guys think?

So far, I've found out that it apparently seems to be a sole proprietorship in Argentina. Unfortunately, Argentina doesn't seem to have any public company registries or corporate history. It’s way better in the UK in that regard.

I’d also appreciate it if you could share any insights into their company structure.Looking forward to your replies!

    I tried them in 2024:

    I had no issues, but I haven't really used the account since then because I don't have a need for shared hosting.

    They've featured periodically on LowEndBox since 2023.

    I thought it was important to mention that because the impression given by half-price sales is that the company is about to go out of business.

    I had dealings with their owner a number of years ago

    Ordered a 20i based package, advised we advertised reseller while the thread still was active here, demanded a refund, when refused disputed the payment

    I see. To be honest i'm kind of surprised that after having been in the industry she can't just recommend a solid ex-competitor but oh well.

    My point was that I don't see any sign of a 50% discount on all locations (but perhaps I'm missing something)
