New Dedicated Server in Ashburn
Hi all,
Looking for a dedicated server in Ashburn, VA (US-East) to run blockchain RPC / full nodes. To be clear up front: this is not mining it's a steady 24/7 workload, heavy disk I/O and outbound bandwidth, needs to stay online.
What I'm after:
- Location: Ashburn, VA. Low latency / good peering inside the Ashburn metro matters a lot for me. Bonus if you can tell me the facility and give a test IP to ping.
- CPU: modern with strong single-thread + decent core count. AMD EPYC 7003 (Milan) or newer, or a recent Xeon Scalable. (Older Skylake Xeons are less ideal but I'll consider if the price is right.)
- RAM: 256GB ECC.
- Storage: 2× 8TB NVMe, datacenter/enterprise-grade (no consumer QLC). Separate OS SSD(s) a plus.
- Network: 10Gbps port with 50TB outbound (or unmetered). Dedicated, not heavily shared, preferred.
- Management: IPMI/KVM for OS install + recovery.
- Nice to have: DDoS protection, a few IPv4 + IPv6.
Budget: ~$450–600/month, monthly billing.
Payment: crypto / PayPal / card.
OS: Ubuntu 24.04, full root.
