  Not really complicated but just very error prone due to all the moving parts. Unless his dedi is also with Dartnode chances are it'll add a bunch of latency to the connections too. I figure if saving $11/y is worth the headache he's probably not actually making money from whatever he's doing.

  Yes and no. It's a bit more complicated. I basically got those for free. Actually still enjoying their servers for free. Don't ask me how but their backend is messed up.

  Their dedis supposedly aren't too bad. As far as VPS go it doesn't look that rosy though with all the bizarre stories about disks cosplaying as tape drives. Also support seems to be somewhat overwhelmed with people needing to post here to at least get some kind of reaction. The last part is actually the most damning one for me. Their dedis can be as good as they can possibly be, if there's a problem and nobody answers my ticket i'm SOL....

  Beyond that i also never got my $7/y lowend support desk appreciation dedi and i'm bitter about it.

  Uh yeah... About them dedis... Why not just get a CC one? I mean, they not all that but have 99/y available all the time. I dont get why people settle for some random host instead.

  idk about cc dedi but dartnode can be upgraded for one time cost up to like 256gb ram without changing yearly renewal price
