You know what would be even better (and also would have saved you all the time waste and disappointment here)? Just not taking part in silly queuing games over a bunch of sad dollars. Discounts are nice, freebies are nice but there also needs to be a minimum level of self respect and some calculation if the juice is even worth the squeeze.
better then buy from racknerd, hostbrr, solidvps, greencloud.
😂
Promotions are supposed to be fun and exciting, but the way they’ve run this one is genuinely frustrating because it feels like an unfair competition.
yeah redirect to dev/null
i see whining clearly. you need therapy. do you have therapy money?
If you consider a factual statement to be a complaint, then your reading comprehension is so poor that you should go back to kindergarten and start with the alphabet.
You can take a nap while watching Formula One but not while you wait in line so I'd rather watch formula One than wait in DartNode's line.
Formula One is a soothing sleep aid, the perfect background noise for a midday rest. I love it.
100% agree
Wise words, that's the reason I never apply to freebies.
Freebies tend to cause clutter and some of them require too much time being wasted.
What’s even funnier is that some people spent nearly a whole day in the queue, only to find out it was sold out when they finally got in. 😂
And all of this for potentially saving ~6€ per year.
Ok
Crash out first move on later.
ok. i need therapy but i do not have therapy money.
Doesn't sound much "move on" to me
@AdamWilliam your queue has been doubled
That’s why I decided to stop wasting my time waiting in line. This isn’t something where patience will necessarily pay off.
Then I bought one from a guy🤓
In the end, I spent more $1.50 and bought one from a scalper who was using a script. Its totally worth to save my time🤓
We will be pausing the final hour of the sale. I would like to sincerely apologize for the technical issues people were facing. We have our Chief Engineer working on a fix and we want to give everyone a final chance to purchase what they couldn't during the sale. We will have an array of dedicated servers dropping including the infamous 99/year dedicates servers.
We will be pausing for 1 hour. And resuming full force to finish it off!

would be really impressive if you delivered items people paid for, fuck off with this noise.
You'll just have to wait for the queues, the system get's hardened against bots every few hours, so it might get worked off slowly.
I got most of mine already tho
i chose to wait for the refund instead, if the relationship starts this way it's probably not going to be very fun.
I understand, for the price, I take the "risk" tho
If we are not a loyal customer of yours, I don’t think anyone would be willing to sit in front of a computer for hours waiting.
But the result we received was very disappointing. After several hours of long waiting, what we got was that the product was already sold out.
Such a campaign is clearly unreasonable—people who genuinely want to buy it suffer and still cannot get it, while scalpers can easily purchase the designated products.
I sincerely hope you can learn from this experience and avoid holding similar promotional campaigns in the future. It is truly very frustrating and upsetting.
I was the first to point out that this mechanism was unreasonable, and as a result I received a lot of criticism from others, which left me feeling quite speechless.
Those people who blindly flatter you just to get free VPS are not helping your business development at all. You should focus your attention on paying users and seriously listen to their feedback.
And just look at what their support said on my ticket:
"I've looped in our Accounting team since they're best equipped to help with this. Someone from that team will be picking this up shortly — you should hear back within 168 hours.
Cheer up, mate. Seeing your screenshot of the queue line, I honestly think the server gods were actually doing you a massive favor. You should be glad you didn’t pass that checkout page.
I managed to battle through their broken system and grabbed an instance during the DartDay rush. Want to see what you "missed out" on?
Here is my fresh YABS disk benchmark on this node:
Yes, you read that right. 404 IOPS in 2026. Daniel gave us a beautiful 900Mbps network pipeline, but it seems he paired it with a hard drive stolen from an ancient TiVo. Doing
apt updateon this machine takes long enough to brew a cup of coffee. If you are genuinely still disappointed and absolutely need a server with a great network pipe but the storage performance of a 90s floppy disk, I am more than happy to transfer my invoice/VM over to you via a support ticket.
Save yourself from the FOMO, you dodged a bullet here!
