Looking for a Windows VPS/VDS for 1080p60 OBS Streaming (8GB+ RAM / 4 Cores) - Budget up to $10/mo

CenTuCenTu Member

Hello LET community,

I am looking for a Windows-compatible VPS or VDS capable of handling a dual-OBS video streaming setup.

The main workload involves running a 3D WebGL browser game at 1080p full-screen while capturing and encoding the gameplay via OBS at 1080p @ 60 FPS, paired with a second background OBS instance running a 24/7 video/music loop.

My Target Specifications:

  • CPU: 4 Cores minimum (high single-core clock speeds preferred for WebGL).
  • RAM: 8 GB minimum (12 GB to 16 GB is a huge plus).
  • Storage: 40 GB+ NVMe or fast SSD.
  • Bandwidth: Generous limits or unmetered on a stable 1 Gbps port.
  • OS: Must support Windows Server

Hardware Preferences & Core Dilemma:

1.Intel with QuickSync (Preferred Backend): I would highly prefer an Intel node with iGPU passthrough / QuickSync enabled to offload the heavy 1080p60 encoding. Note to providers: I know standard hypervisors hide the iGPU. I am only looking for Intel QuickSync if you offer specialized VDS mapping or a cheap clearance Bare Metal node where the iGPU is explicitly active.

2.AMD Alternative: If an active Intel iGPU is not feasible at this price tier, I am completely open to AMD Ryzen or EPYC nodes. Because this will rely on software x264 encoding for multiple streams, the assigned cores must be highly performant and not severely overcommitted on the node.

Budget:
I am on a tight budget for this project and can offer up to a maximum of $10 per month. I am open to using promotional coupon codes or paying quarterly if the discount fits my budget.

Please drop your offers, flash deals, or benchmark links below. Looking for good network routes toward global ingest servers (YouTube/TikTok).

Thank you!

    GLWR.
Question: location, your current ISP, because that would determine the best option

You can easily get a server like this for 5$/month. No need to increase your budget to 10

Preferably West-Central Europe (like Germany, Netherlands, or Czech Republic) to ensure the lowest latency and zero network lag for the live stream. My current ISP is in Austria.

Could you recommend a specific provider that offers a pre-installed Windows VPS for $5/month? Most of the ones I've found at that price point only offer Linux or charge extra for the Windows license.

    UPD: Please disregard.

Just noticed this clarification. The VDS I posted is another side of the ocean.

    GTFO. Easily?

My thought was "$10 ain't enough for that" and you're saying this is readily available. I don't think you understand what is being requested. But I'll enjoy the many links you provide to $5/mo Windows server VDS with 4 cores, 8GB RAM, and unlimited bandwidth. Oh, and iGPU passthrough.

    I'll buy a bunch.

I think he was being sarcastic! :)
My instinct was to tell OP to self host and save $10. LOL

What would be a generous amount of BW?
