Yes VNC is available
Sustained load over long periods isn’t allowed. Bursts are fine, for example, rendering for a few hours is okay, but continuous workloads like 24/7 mining are not permitted.
Any plans to restock GPU?
On Monday we’ll most likely have 4–5x 4000 Ada available.
Awesome! Can you restock the GPU coupon?
The birthday promotion has ended. The last promo packages in Bremen are only available until Monday morning, so we won’t be restocking the GPU coupon.
That said, our regular pricing is already very competitive on the market.
Any plans for something with beefy storage? I've been maxing out my upgraded storage, looking for 2-10TB
Yeah kinda sad the better packages are sold out atm, seems like solid host but more premium pricing than lot of others in DE
Happy 1 month user for Bremen instance, though 1 month isn't enough to say anything special, still happy. Waiting for firewall
Please add Template/ISO Ubuntu 26.04
Are more deals coming up soon @ComputeBox ?
"competitive on the market.” it’s certainly not bad, but LET market would appreciate a LET competitive deal
yearly deal?
is it possible to add extra vCPU to cheap gpu server (ADA 4000) before order? Any idea when there will be new stock?
Feb'2026 --> May'2026 still not far in performance gap when competing with Ryzen 9950X I had.
Okay, I want to share my honest experience, and I'll be honest also about why I'm a little suspicious at the same time.
I'm with ComputeBox almost a year now. My first server I bought 18.06.25, so basically full year already, and in all this time I had not a single problem from provider side. Not one. I pay 15€/month and I get 6 vCPU and 16GB RAM on latest AMD EPYC Turin. For this money this is just crazy amount of performance.
Also I have a promo server, 25€ per quarter, so around 8.33€/month. Bought it 21.12.25, also zero problems. For this price I get 3 same fast cores, 12GB RAM, and they give very generous traffic on top.
I have also one small test box, and honestly I think about buying few more. I still don't understand the math here. I'm really impressed by performance, but I look at it with some skepticism, because I don't get how they do it for such price. In one year I never saw CPU degradation, never noticed oversell. No idea how, but the result is very fast servers for almost nothing.
And I didn't find something comparable anywhere else, even for clearly more money — usually it was same or even worse on some things (disks for example, which here are also very good).
So when I see people in this thread asking when next promo comes — honestly, even without promo the prices are a joke. One German location is 2 vCPU + 8GB DDR5 for 6.50€. With current RAM shortage I really don't know who can offer 8GB DDR5 with so fast CPU for this price.
That's probably why some stuff is sold out. Hamburg for example has no stock for long time already. I would take their previous gen there immediately — the EPYC 7763 (7003 series) is still great. No wonder it's unavailable so long.
Now the one real minus for me: support response time can be cosmically slow. Performance is top, support speed is opposite. I opened a ticket 04.06 with simple commercial question — can I add CPU/RAM on my current plan without changing tariff, how much it costs, and if not, can I move from my promo plan to higher standard one. Nothing technical, nothing about server config, just normal billing question any agent can answer. I waited from Thursday the 4th and got reply only late night on Sunday the 7th. Two work days plus weekend for such basic question is a bit too much.
One more thing: I actually load these servers quite hard — not always peak, but they're definitely not idle. And even like this, no degradation.
So bottom line: if slow support is not a problem for you, give them a try. From my own experience I can say only good things about this provider

i have never been in slow support reply for technical issues, even with last downtime support with updating ticket every 30minutes
for technical issues, there was a network problem in my vps, open ticket in 11:48:53
first reply to look into the issue at
1:05:04
second reply that problem solved
1:51:07
this was only two technical issues that vps had before
for sales ticket or low priority the average was 1 day and when i ping them in ticket they reply
even there was a reply from someone called Yonathan Michalsky in public holiday in germany that they working only in urgent issues , i'm just surprised that germans works in holiday
even with all of that future with computebox, top performance solid network, one accident in the entire year and not the all nodes, good support
still people looking to review anything bad about slow support time for low priority ticket, oh man, even the good one people try to find the perfection
I won't use computebox not due to performance reason but due to their policy for CPU to RAM ratio.
Sometimes, you just need a bit of extra ram or one more core, but while doing so, they will ask you to buy additional cpu/ram (whatever is applicable) so that the ratio is maintained.
Upgrading was too costly last year. I hope it became easier and relaxed cpu to ram policy now a days.
A bit strange to hear this, honestly. You say upgrading to the next full plan was too costly - but I'd be really happy if you can share some links, or at least names of providers, who offer not just this flexible upgrade you mention (which is actually a very nice thing), but who also keep the same price-to-performance on their base plans. Like how much CPU/RAM you get per dollar, and that it matches what ComputeBox already gives. Because the lack of this flexible tuning is, in my opinion, explainable by one simple thing.
Their base plans are already priced below market. So there is probably just no room for these small custom changes - it's not profitable for them to offer such adjustments at such a low price. In my understanding this is exactly why they don't allow more flexible config of the plans themselves.
I think long time ago I added something extra to one of my servers - maybe extra CPU, maybe it was just extra traffic, which is available now anyway. I honestly don't remember well, it was quite a while back, so I won't claim it for sure.
But in current reality I partly agree with you - sometimes you do need flexibility. Like when you have 6 vCPU and you'd want 8, but RAM is more than enough and you don't want to overpay for a full upgrade. From your side, as the end user, that's totally fair and correct.
The problem is, with the prices this provider already gives, it's just not realistic. Right now they already hand you a lot of resources for very little money -and as a user you basically want to pay only a little bit more on top of that ratio and get an even better deal. So yeah, probably that's exactly why it doesn't work like that)
In April 2025, the policy was to buy 2 GB RAM against increase in 1 core and the total was 1.50 euro/month additional on top of the base.
But I don't think it'll be same now after inflation. So if anyone can state the current price, it will be easier to compare perhaps.
Hello ComputeBox Team,
I am planning to rent multiple VPS instances from your platform and would like to ask a question regarding your networking configuration.
Do you provide Private IP addresses or Private LAN (VPC) functionality for your VPS servers? Specifically, I need to know if I can interconnect my VPS instances within a secure, isolated local network so they can communicate with each other directly without routing traffic through the public internet.
Thanks for info
hello, is there any new discount coupon code available? i want to buy TURIN package with 6 core+ 16 Gb thanks.
Thank you all for your positive feedback!
We are currently working on such a feature, but it will only become available later this year. (Private VLANs will only be available within the same datacenter.)
Maybe there will be a new promo in the next few weeks
Currently, we only offer upgrades to higher packages.
I'm waiting for this
looking forward to your next promo
