    I know right,

Perfect for the CDN platform we are building soon, would be very useful if they allowed BGP sessions + communities!

Is both the deal and the code valid for high performance plans?

And is the high performance plans hard capped to 1gbps or is it multi gig?

Lastly what CPUs are used for high performance and storage? I’m specifically after Seattle.

Your VM's had way better spec's.
    200GB is quite bad.

Why is your VPS more expensive than other providers? Also, the bandwidth is quite limited. :'(

Use the redeem code page to redeem https://panel.op-net.com/vouchers

Having to topup 10 USD minimum is a meh move, too much for just trying 1 month of service.

The # of locations is pretty fantastic though. If you really want to see meh look at the bandwidth! It really depends on the credit expiration whether I'll kick in the 10 bucks though.

I'd have no problem depositing the $10, and probably more than that, because the locations are super interesting. That bandwidth allocation though...

  • qikuaiqikuai Member

Do the $100 credits expire? If yes, when?

Where to use code "LET50" – during the $10 deposit?

It's low-end in exotic locations... check their larger plans for more bandwidth. Still any provider offering services in some of these locations are charging minimum 30-50$ for the same.

Oh wow. So basically you wouldn’t even have a chance to use them unless you could reinvoice for a year or you take out a ton of services for 30 days but in reality you only need one.

I know AWS does free tier for 6 months and vultr/linode used to/does credit for a few months but like jeez 30 days is incredibly stingy.

Some specific locations are attractive; other platforms charge at least $7 per month, while OP offers a plan for $5 per month. However, for servers in more common locations, this isn’t cost-effective.

The platform charges by the hour, so payments should be deducted at any time.

Another point: I suspect that the virtual machine relies on cloud-init to download some preconfigured dependencies during startup, which causes it to appear as "available" on the dashboard even though it is still booting internally. This requires waiting a little longer. I’ve been waiting for several minutes, but I still can’t connect via SSH. The system is Debian 13.

Okay so that’s no different to either of the two competing vendors I’ve mentioned except they let you evaluate the platform for longer.

30 days is not enough for these credits

Neither NVC nor SSH is working, but the control panel shows that they're online. I've been waiting for over 10 minutes, and there's still no improvement. I think there's a major issue with the setup process, or the actual performance is just too poor.

The DK location is actually unavailable, even though it appears to be working normally on the dashboard. When I switched to a different server location to set up the server, it worked fine.

    Same problem in TR
