can you give some example of "infinitely better"? i'm skimming the docs looking for why i'd switch from searxng and nothing's grabbing my attention.

The quality and relevance of the search results. For me SearXNG is very hit and miss, whereas Degoog is like using a commercial search engine again.
Nextcloud is overall a bit bloated.
Maybe opencloud.eu, I recently heard about it somewhere !! Not yet tried but have seen many mentioning it as a light weight alternative to nextcloud.
Ya it is interesting but it did not work for me (skill issue?), I like bewcloud. Well, this topic is turning into the battle of preferences

Yeah, I run both alongside, and Opencloud is noticeably faster. Being less bloated is one good reason. Although Opencloud still feels a bit rough around the edges, and setting up OIDC is a nightmare. I am waiting for the project to be a bit more mature before fully switching.
