Plz suggest a VPS with max vCPU count / vCPU specs, 10-15$ monthly. Min 4 gb ram. NAT ok too. TIA

Hi guys , hope you all doing great . My main focus is vCPU count because i will do parallel processing. I don't need a dedicated ip as i will not host anything . The task is only CPU intensive and does not require much ram , so 4 gb is enough. Location doesn't matter at all . Net speed , bandwidth doesn't matter too. Hard drive speed not much needed but if too slow , i assume that can slow down parallel processing .

One thing i'm confused about though , let's say 2ghz 12 vCPU vs 3ghz 8 vCPU . which will be better ? Browsing LET , i saw offers in or slightly more than my 15$ budget but those are offering like 4-6 vCPU , 8-16 gb ram . I don't need that much ram at all . I don't even need a real ip . so , can i simply not get something which is just vCPU count or vCPU performance focused ?

i'm a newbie in searching for good vps . So , please suggest and advise . Thanks :)

    Hey,

Have a look at our budget VPSes:

You can just configure the VPS to the amount of vCores you would like ;)

I'm not really aware of a lowend option for massive multithreading but Hetzner should allow you to spin up a 110 (not entirely sure - been a while but i think it was something slightly above 100) core instance if you nicely ask support to remove the cap. Billing is hourly, so if you don't need it for that long it'll probably fit your budget. For a whole month i guess it's probably more than $15 though.

Edit: Seems it's just 48. Guess ~100 was the amount of threads i was throwing at it or they reduced it over the last couple years.

These packages are quite CPU-focused, the cores are dedicated.
Both options fit the budget, yearly is a bit cheaper:

    Less cores, lower bound:

    More cores, upper bound:

/ turn your VPN off prior to ordering /

Apparently this has 16 Epyc cores @ $14 / month.

    Thank you.

What's the use-case? Might help... Is it mining?
