We are trying to get that enabled on our upstream provider, awaiting for them to respond.
We likely won't get a response till Tuesday and or Wednesday of this week, If you have any problems please open a support ticket as our agents are online and ready to help.
How to Get Started ->
If you decide to place an order feel free to provide your ticket number on this thread and we will upgrade your storage for free!
I’ve already done this but I just landed on a workspace asking me for $10.00 .
so how do I order the vps. This was my original question?
Sadly out minimum charge for our platform is $10 USD (due to stripe fees) , the funds will be deposited as account credit that can be later used to purchase services.
When you register an account you can request an instance on the dashboard, Head over to the Sentry compute section, then fill out the requirements for your instance and our team will deploy your instance.
Thanks for the information, I've already opened a ticket since 300-350ms ping is not normal for Singapore
Yes unfortunately our upstream provider is not accepting our BGP communities and Singapore traffic is being routed to L3 in Amsterdam and or LAX then returned via HKG to the user,
We have disabled Singapore until they can resolve this and accept our communities to prepend traffic and disable specific upstream's.
All APAC traffic will be routed towards LAX via CN2, GTT, NTT and or Cox temporarily.
thanks and I understand your reasoning for the minimum deposit.
One more question I got to the point where you request and fill out form to request an instance, but how do you request one that you listed in your first post? $4 or $8 why don’t you just provide a link to order like all other providers. I guess it’s because vps is really not your main focus
Okay so when can I possibly expect for the Singapore to be fully functional? Any eta? Or does it depends on the upstream provider?
It depends on the Upstream provider,
Sadly we wish we can expedite this but this is being bottlenecked by @vsys_host
We hope they see the urgency in our case for a quick resolution for our clients.
Yes you are correct, it is not our main focus but since we see such high demand for DDoS Protected services we have decided to offer it as a service,
We don't have an automated system for VDS/VPS deployments just yet due to how each server that we assign users are assigned a anycast routed IP.
Understood, thanks a lot once again!
No problem, we wish to serve you!
We apologize again for this inconvenience.
At first, I assumed this was closer to providers like Path, CosmicGuard, or similar downstream mitigation platforms that actually protect customer prefixes/ASN through BGP announcements and dedicated scrubbing infrastructure.
But from what I can see now, the service is primarily based around GRE/IP proxying combined with in-house XDP filtering at the edge, rather than true downstream prefix protection.
That doesn’t mean the service is bad — XDP filtering can be very effective for game traffic and common attack patterns — but the wording around “Anycast DDoS Protection” initially gave the impression of a more complete upstream mitigation solution.
For game servers or simple proxy setups, this probably works perfectly fine. However, for people specifically looking for real downstream protection for their own prefixes or network infrastructure, this appears to be a very different category of service compared to providers like Path or Cosmic.
Just sharing my honest impression after reading through the details more carefully.
They've fixed the Singapore region now and the ping is really good now, would totally recommend anyone looking for DDoS protection in Singapore to check their services
Thank you,
We will be able to provide VDS's in Singapore soon aswell!
@gatewaysentryllc any plan to offer VDS's on Los Angeles (Asia Optimized)?
We do have VDS in Los Angeles Asia Optimized, (Via CN2)
I will make a post soon about our stock!
Since we opened Singapore we will be offering Singapore soon (hopefully)
Got a server with them in Amsterdam, very good performance so far!
I also have an Amsterdam Ryzen vps with them, and the performance is indeed up to Ryzen's level
Support has been responsive so far. when something breaks I open a ticket, and they make fixes in less than an hour, so that's great
Thank you, We appreciate the honest review!
We hope to offer you nothing but uptime and performance!
Thank you, We appreciate the honest review!
We try our best, every member of our team is very hands-on and tries there best to respond as soon as they can with the most comprehensive response.
Thank you for trusting our services!
waiting for VDS/VPS Singapore
They provide VDS now in Singapore, I asked them earlier today
LAX is ready for orders! our Bare metal instances are coming online.
It's so nice for 'China Route CN2 Premium' in LAX and AMS also. LOVE IT!
And Chicago!!
All routes coming back from China is also very optimized!,
Depending what IP your connecting to it will return via CN2 and or PCCW (from our Singapore PoP)
That's totally very advanced optimization. Thx.
We are releasing Los Angeles tonight at 2200 CST, that's in 4 hours!!
I recommend getting the orders in now before its too late!
Hint The nodes in Los Angeles is currently using Ryzen 9950x!! also provide ticket number in this chat for an upgrade
Service Update,
Lowendtalk offer will no longer offer $2/TB bandwidth for anti DDoS anymore.
It will be updated to $3.2/TB.
the 50% discount for web traffic is still allowed.
(existing customers will be allowed to utilize the $2/TB rate fairly)
(this is due to our APAC region costs, APAC traffic is significantly more expensive)
GS-00348 thx!
