  • Best is very relative unless you provide a description of what you actually need/want to do with it.

Define "best offer". An $80/year system with 500 GB @ 20 Mbps, 1 GB RAM, 10 GB SATA SSD, and 1 oversold E5v4 vCPU is going to be pretty damn impressive in certain countries.

So what is it that you value? Total memory? CPU speed? Number of CPU cores? Disk size? Disk speed? Network speed? Quality of upstreams? Unusual location? SLA/fast support? DDoS filtering?

This is a bit like asking what the best vehicle you can get for $300,000 is. A lambo is going to go a lot faster than a boat. A propeller airplane will fly a lot higher than a lambo. A backhoe loader can lift a lot more dirt than an airplane. And a used Honda Civic with 100k miles on it is going to be an absolute luxury in Cuba.

Like for example a bunch of CN2 connectivity or a VPS in Liechtenstein? Both could be great offers... if they match your interests. Location alone... how good is the best spec if it comes with a bunch of latency? This might work for cheapest but with best noone really knows what they should offer you.

As much RAM as possible, CPU geekbench 6 score ~1.2K single core. As much storage as possible. Bacially whatever the provider can provide at this price. So basically EPYC / Gold CPU with good amount of RAM & Storage. Don't need extremely powerful CPU like Ryzen 9.

This VDS is $77 / year:

This one is $66 / year (different line-up, newer CPUs):

GB single core is about 1600.

If you can go up to $88 / year, you can get the next plan, which is 6c / 6GB / 180GB.

    Hey @sanchogodinho,

For $80/yr we can fit cleanly. Our EPYC Configurator in Eygelshoven, NL:

    • 2 Cores (AMD EPYC, Zen 3 Milan, ECC DDR4)
    • 4 GB RAM
    • 40 GB NVMe (RAID 1)
    • Unlimited traffic, 10 Gbps shared port
    • IPv4 + IPv6 /64, DDoS Protection
    • 6.39€/mo standard ≈ $84/yr

    Order for 12 months and you save another 10% (≈ 69€/yr ≈ $75), 24 months saves 15% (≈ 65€/yr ≈ $71). Either fits your budget.

    Configurator: skri.me/epyc-config
    Looking Glass: skrime.eu/network / AS215365

  • That deal is pretty good, ngl. But I feel a balanced plan would be better. I added it there as well. Something like 14GB (or 16GB if possible) RAM, 6 vCPU and 200GB NVMe would've been better than giving 20GB RAM and just 3 vCPU.

Why get more for $80/year when you can get less?

And you can pay by cash in mail, Monero, Bitcoin, or Bitcoin Cash.

    $72/year for: 768MB memory, one vCPU, 24GB disk, routed IPv6 /64 and one IPv4.
    Or:
    $72/year for: 1GB memory, one vCPU, 32GB disk, routed IPv6 /64 and no IPv4.

Expect 100Mbit/sec or somewhat lower speeds. It could be all you need.

    Hi,

Melbicom has options for €46,80 or €93,60 in EU.
The cheaper options is the lowest VPS plan:
    CPU 1 core
    RAM 2GB
    Storage 20GB
Bandwidth up to 1 Gbps. If the monthly quota 5TB is exceeded, the throughput is reduced to 100 Mbps.
    Data transfer Unmetered

The standard price for all of the mentioned servers is €592,50/mo, so €750/year is not going to work. But feel free to send me a DM, we might be able to work something out for some of them!

Well, you offered them to @OP at $80/y and said there were bulk discounts, so... I could do 800€/y though. That's not even 10% discount if one ignores that $ vs € doesn't go in my favor.

I don't know or really care much for that matter. @OP came up with the $80/y requirement and you were the one who brought all those dedis. Not my construction site if you get what i mean. No, i want to rent those 11 dedis you offered in response to @OP's $80/y request and i'll also claim the bulk discount. Thanks a lot. @OP hasn't shown any interest so i'm taking them all at 800€/y.

I mean you obviously read @OP's request and prepared the perfect offer for him, so i feel 800€/y for those boxes is more than just fair but you are allowed to make a reasonable (no XXX€/m or VPS bait-and-switch nonsense - i want those dedis...) counter offer if you absolutely have to nickel and dime me.
