We're excited to announce the Site Rules Manager a powerful, visual alternative to .htaccess built specifically for Nginx-powered hosting.
No more editing config files manually. No more SSH. No more breaking your site with a typo.
What is Site Rules Manager?
Site Rules Manager lets you control how your website behaves at the server level directly from your HPanel dashboard. It's the Nginx equivalent of .htaccess, but with a clean UI, safety checks, and zero risk of crashing your site.
Every rule you create is validated with nginx -t before it goes live. If something goes wrong, the system automatically rolls back to the previous working configuration. Your site stays online always.
7 Rule Types Available
Redirect old URLs to new ones. Support for permanent (301) and temporary (302) redirects with optional wildcard matching.
Use case: Migrated your blog? Redirect /old-blog → /new-blog without losing SEO juice.
Lock any directory behind a username/password prompt. Server-level authentication no plugins needed.

Safety First
Every rule goes through a 3-step safety pipeline:
Generate Rule is converted to valid Nginx configuration
Test nginx -t validates the entire server config
Apply or Rollback If test passes, config is applied. If it fails, the previous working config is automatically restored.
Your site never goes down because of a bad rule. Period.

Per-Rule Toggle
Don't want to delete a rule? Just toggle it off. Every rule has an on/off switch. Disabled rules are saved but not applied you can re-enable them anytime with one click.
Multi-Domain Support
Got multiple domains? No problem. Select any domain from the dropdown and manage rules independently for each one. Rules are completely isolated per domain.
Zero Downtime Updates
Site Rules Manager was designed for existing installations too. When you update HPanel, all your existing domain configurations are automatically patched to support site rules no manual work needed.

my main problem is the OS support for panels, like C panel can only run on ubuntu 24, I wish it supported the latest version, or maybe even my preferred OS which is debian13

I think you'd get a lot of tiny users if you did like a free forever license with 3 domains and 1 IP. Then, if it's good enough, you'll get enough of a community for hosting companies to give it a try.

Thanks for the feedback. Currently HPanel officially supports Ubuntu 22.04 & 24.04 LTS for maximum stability and compatibility in production environments.
Other operating systems, including Debian 13, are already in testing phase and will be released soon after validation.
That’s actually a great suggestion, and we’re already working on it. We’re planning to launch a free forever license with support for up to 10 domains to help small users and homelabs get started with HPanel.

You can activate the trial directly without adding any payment method.
PM2 is purpose-built for Node.js it gives us cluster mode, auto-restart with memory limits, zero-downtime reloads, and built-in log management out of the box. With systemd you'd need to manually configure all of this (custom restart policies, separate log rotation, no native cluster support, no live monitoring). We still use pm2 startup systemd under the hood, so PM2 itself is managed by systemd best of both worlds.

Our WHMCS license is fully valid and active. Here's the verification showing "This domain is authorized to be using WHMCS" in green.
The verification tool can sometimes show inconsistent results due to DNS propagation or caching on WHMCS's end. If you check right now, you'll see it's fully authorized.
We've also opened a ticket with WHMCS to ensure the verification cache stays consistent.
Show proof or stop spamming. Share your server IP, license key, installation date, and any logs showing what happened. We have full records of every license issued.
Making false claims without evidence is defamation. We'll happily report this to LowEndTalk admins if you continue spreading misinformation.
