Good afternoon,

We are looking to expand our infrastructure and purchase a total of 60 VPS servers for our clients. We plan to buy these in multiple batches of 10 or more servers each month.

Here are our specific technical requirements and details:

⚙️ Specifications (Per VPS)

CPU: 1 Core

RAM: 1 GB

Storage: 10 GB SSD

Network: 1 Gbps Uplink

Bandwidth: 1 TB Traffic

IP: 1 Clean Dedicated IPv4 address (Crucial: IPs must not be blacklisted)

📍 Target Locations
We need these distributed across the following US regions:

New York
Los Angeles
Dallas
Miami

Oregon

💼 Budget & Use Case
Use Case: Exclusively for VPN services.

Target Price: $6.00 – $9.00 USD per Year per VPS.

If you are a provider who can fulfill these requirements, please send me a PM or comment below with your offers, looking forward to a long-term business relationship!

Why not get a dedicated machine and lease /24?

Let us know if you want to expand into Germany

You are looking to buy servers in batches (monhtly), so you will buy 10 servers, next month buy 10 more and will discontinue previously bought 10 servers ?

For $6.00 – $9.00 USD per Year per VPS, are you looking for charity ? That will hardly pay for yearly IP price, over that you are expecting bw, space, resources ?

Funds, volume, effort i guess. Besides even if those VPS won't do a whole lot i'm not entirely sure if ~250 would easily fit a single box. He can't really go much above 150€/m on the setup if he wants to meet his ambitious price goal. Obviously skipping the VPS and just running VPN on the server might be an option but then he'd likely need more than 1G uplink. Having someone else work for almost free to at a loss is probably more pleasant ;)

No, OP is looking to make a profit and he correctly calculated that he will make the most profit if everyone else makes nothing (or less) ;)

does even 6-9$ cover ipv4 prices? charity will decline this request

Theoretically it's possible. A /24 sits somewhere around $100/m. So basically $0.40/m/IP/m. That's $4.80/y, which leaves an astronomical $1.20 to $4.20 or per year for hardware and traffic. That's $1050/y on 250 users or $87.50/m to get some fat unmetered box on a 10Gbit port (at least). Obviously only if OP maxes out his budget and the host accepts his fate of working for nothing.

TL;DR: Theoretically possible but highly unlikely.

Thanks for the suggestion! However, geographic distribution is a strict requirement for this project. We need the infrastructure spread across those 6 specific US regions to optimize latency and location options for our VPN clients. A single dedicated machine would lock us into one location.

  • Thanks for the feedback, everyone. I see my initial budget was too tight for the current IPv4 market pricing. Let me clarify and adjust:

    1. To answer @Saahib: We are accumulating the servers month by month to scale our infrastructure. We are NOT buying and canceling/rotating them to burn IPs.
    2. Because of our specific software requirements, we do need a Dedicated IPv4 (NAT or IPv6-only won't work for this deployment).

Given that, I can increase our target budget up to $8.00 - $9.80 USD per Year per VPS. If any provider can match this price for a bulk/monthly commitment across those US regions, please let me know

Thanks for the offer, @PacketsDecreaser! Right now, our focus is strictly on expanding our US infrastructure across those specific regions. However, we definitely plan to expand into Europe and Germany in the near future. I'll make sure to keep you in mind and reach out as soon as we are ready to scale there
