Invoice #31835
It would be great to get IPv6 and double the bandwidth—but instead of bandwidth, it would be even better to have higher network download throughput.
Uploads to other servers are great, no problem...
Currently, the speed is at most about 1 Mbit/s when I run “apt update,” and yabs confirms that the Recv Speed is terrible:
iperf3 Network Speed Tests (IPv4):
That’s pretty bad for a storage box, where transferring about ten GB to this server would take days.
This is already the second time I’ve tried to use your service reliably - so please: fix this issue.
wow,This place offers great value for money.
Hello @jem888,
Thank you very much for that, and I greatly appreciate the compliment. I can definitely double your bandwidth
I also added IPv6 for you. I greatly appreciate your support and your order, please let me know if there is anything else you ever need, and have a great day.

Hello @ransomshell,
Well, that is a mystery, and I will DM you shortly, as I would like to get to the bottom of it. Thx!

hello @Dedirock
Thank you! very much
Shout out to James M. in support for helping me out in chat.
And shout out to "Lead Support" to doubling my bandwidth and adding IPv6!
I got an email about my VPS being migrated for their upgrade from RAID0 to RAID5. Then I got a notice that it was complete on Friday last week and they sent another email with new login info/IP address. The only problem is that it hasn't worked since Friday. It's completely inaccessible, and the control panel shows nothing.
I opened a support ticket on Saturday evening when I tried to log in. I got a "we'll get back to you shortly" response on Sunday morning.
I heard nothing else on Sunday. I heard nothing on Monday.
Today, Tuesday, I got "We are actively reviewing your support request and will get back to you as quickly as possible with more details." after I replied to the ticket again asking what is going on.
So, to recap, they "migrated" the VPS to upgrade it, but it hasn't been accessible for 4 days now, and the two support responses I've gotten are generic "we'll look into it and get back to you." over the course of 4 days.
It's cheap, but 4 days of downtime and generic responses just aren't cutting it.
Hey @Coolgeek,
Sorry about this, man. There are some bugs to work out in the upgrade process, and I am sorry for the added time here. I will DM you directly, get your info, and check on where things are at to see why it has not been working during this time. Thanks for your patience with us.

Hello @SwordfishBE,
Awesome man
Went ahead and doubled the bandwidth, you are all set. Unfortunately we would not be able to add an extra core, however, I do appreciate your order. Please let me know if there is anything else I can do for you, have a great rest of your day, and thank you again.
Full Upgrade™
Was it their storage offer?
Some storage chickens were affected, 2TB down here. At least, its a backup of the backup
Hey @nocci,
I appreciate your order, IPv6 has been added, as well as bandwidth doubled. I am totally tracking on your observation about the download throughput, and thank you very much for the information you have posted here. Definitely not the speeds we want to see. I did check your ticket and looks like our guys did offer a solution. Please let me know if things are not working correctly. Well definitely get it sorted out. Thanks again!

Yes, support said servers our gone and data is lost. Waiting for another
Hello,
I tried Yabs on this VPS, but the disk access seems a bit slow.
What kind of speeds are you all experiencing?
Hey there,
VPS was destroyed and recreated on an other Host.
The speeds (even within the US) were better in the first hrs of using it.
But now er are at about 1 to 4 Mbit download speeds.
The first seconds of a Speedtest are okay but then the speed drops again.
Just like the host of the VPS itself is at maximum of what it can handle.
Please reach out via DM if you like to find a good solution.
@DediRock
Thank you for providing the replacement VPS. However, I noticed two issues with the new server:

Hey @jcn50,
Correct, it was a storage node unfortunately.
Thanks
Thankful that you're in the Buffalo DC. Invoice #31894 could use some bandwidth and ipv6 upgrades if you please.
Well, seems that may have been short lived. I bought my service, started the install and left for home to finish it a half hour later. Now that I'm home, I notice I never received any invoices or any emails, and my login doesn't work. I also notice that the password recovery doesn't seem to work, either. If this is relating to some sort of fraud detection, it's the first time I've ever encountered it. Also, very frustrating since I've not gotten any notice by any means and may just be wasting time.
Additionally, I see the charge came through on my card, but my support ticket trying to get resolution on why your password reset system doesn't work is being ignored. This may be the first time I've ever had to work though the charge-back system due to non-response by a vendor.
Double check your spam folder, I noticed a few Dedirock service announcements went there for me on one of the major email providers.
Thanks, but that's typically the first place I look. My support ticket has a CC for another gmail address and I've not received anything there. I was able to view my original ticket (indirectly), and I see they've give me a blow off reply there and my gmail CC account didn't receive any email so the whole thing is starting to look a little suspect.
Ouch, sad to hear that, and hope you get this sorted out. I have ordered almost at same time (your order # is next to mine) and my server is there.
Still waiting for the ipv6 so I can start syncing from an ipv6-only backup server tough.
