The benefits of idle servers are obvious

Whether your server goes down, spends ages in migration, changes IPs, loses some data, or even gets hacked and need wipe&reinstall, your business won’t be affected at all. You'll never feel anxious about it

There is no idle server if its running. Only idle server is stopped from control panel.

I actually have 3 from HostHatch that's powered down right now. They provisioned those when I already left office.

For me, idle server is a server you were absolutely convinced you’d need, spent ages deploying and configuring the services you thought you’d need, and then almost never used

powered down servers are not iddlers, those return as critical incidents on your dashboard monitor. :p

Idling servers is a psyop made by LET providers to make more sales

I wouldn't know about an idler unless I get an alert from hetrixtools that it is down.

Restart with a Plan since no backup you mean

  • I logged into netcup SCP and was pleasantly surprised I have 2 idlers that I forgot about. No wonder my bank account is in shambles
