    No

  • My server also disappeared from monitoring since April 2, 2026, at 23:49:37. After troubleshooting, I found that I can still connect via VNC through the web backend panel.

It appears the IPv4 connection is malfunctioning, but IPv6 connectivity still works. However, because the default DNS servers are IPv4-only, this caused a complete network outage. After manually configuring DNS to use IPv6-compatible servers, I regained access via IPv6.

Crucially, I recommend backing up your data immediately via VNC while you still have access.

Regarding contact attempts: Like you, I've tried reaching them via email, support tickets, Telegram, Instagram, X (Twitter), etc. There seems to be no activity from Avena on any channel since March 23rd. This silence is concerning.

To protect yourself from potential risks, please prioritize backing up your data using VNC. Hope everything is okay with the Avena team.

  • but i have dedicated server i dont think i can use VNC and other such thing, do you have any idea to get backup ?

    Hi.

Folks make your backups right now. This is a hard situation. Until the issue is being “solved” it will take a while or not. Unfortunately the only option for now is to wait.

You don't. You take backups before a disaster, not after. How many times does this have to be said for people to understand?

There were already bad signs before the servers went down.

You can't, you already fucked up

We shouldn't push people even more down when they are already down.

Hey @Developer so let me be honest with you that unless some response comes from Avena, there isn't a way for you to take backup anymore.

I hope that you can also take it as a lesson and hopefully have 3-2-1 backup strategy with hourly backups or more depending on your service.

It can be stressful to be in your situation but I wish the very best for your situation and hope it gets sorted out best.

Based on the BGP status showing IRR Invalid - Parent Route Origin Mismatch for their IPv4 space (their entire /23 block is completely unreachable per ping tests), but i think the physical server is likely still running but isolated due to upstream routing failure.
you can check if IPv6 was provisioned - if yes, try direct SSH/Ping using your server's IPv6 address ; besides you can log into Avena's control portal to look for IPMI/iDRAC/KVM access points , or any "rescue mode" options.

This is a great lesson for those haters who “disable IPv6 on every machine”.
