Please gibe me my free veeeppps
O wow nice!! I figured people couldn't wait for it to get below $50 lol Thank you Zappie!! I will dm you.
wtf
@Zappie I also guessed the final price but it seems I wasn't counted
(if I missed some rules, I'm sorry.)
Back off imposter
@Zappie beware
well I didn't mark that as a guess but you all know it was over just after that price was set
Oh you are 100% right, I was out here searching for "51.50" instead of 51.5
Thanks for spotting and letting me know, please DM and we will (as per competition) get you sorted with you a yearly VM too!
Oh fuck me I missed it. Congrats though and thanks for the fun thread @Zappie
Received my 1-year free VPS in New Zealand from @Zappie!! YABS is below, really nice specs and performance looks awesome!! Thank you Zappie Host!
Damn... those are some great specs! @Zappie really spoiled you 😆
The YABS from New Zaeland to Singapore are bit High, +- 120ms , despite APAC member, right?
Pretty good for SG APAC Alternatives Besides Indonesia & Malaysia or other ASEAN VPS
almost half of what usual Singapore to USA +-200ms
Great Spec anyway.
Par for the course... really depends where you go and how.
I know that I can hit my Onidel SG end point at 131ms and I am about 15ms away from Auckland.
I think this is as good as it gets actually. The vast majority of traffic from Singapore to Zappie, NZ seems to be carried via GSL on the entire route (Singapore -> Perth -> Sydney -> Auckland).
That alone takes around 115ms:
To give a comparison, Singapore -> Sydney is usually 90-95ms, so the hop to Auckland adds just 20ms.
There doesn't seem like there are a lot of providers in New Zealand but Zappie is still likely the best you can get there
Quic is another provider that recently entered the compute market(originally a self support ISP meant for enthusiasts). They are the sister brand of Vetta, which Zappie absolutely has an upstream with Vetta. Combine that with GSL and well it's a match make in heaven.
There is also Voyager but... Is owned by a very interesting person.
