First of all, noone can ever buy my opinion, ever, no person did see/audit this review before release.
my single service and account is registered since 11/25/2023
First of all, the prices on the website are a bit yikes, however we are comparing apples to oranges, New Zealand is an exotic location, bandwidth is expensive and Australia is just weird ok? The only price comparison i have is this so i guess Zappie is cheap.
So far i noticed that the deals Zappie hosts on LET are genuienly great even if you ignore the NZ exotic location part, especially BF, i remeber they had like a whole /24 ipv4 subnet for cheap, limited to private individuals. i dont remember the pricing but i'm pretty sure they took a loss.
Also their contributions to Open Source are VERY welcome and i wish more companies did it.
in the 2.5 years as a customer i'm pretty sure i costed Zappie more money than i generated, the tickets were anwsered fast and accurate, Zappie is chill, premium and can't wait what they drop every BF.
Whoever is responsible for the deals on LET, that hopefully break even? is either a lunatic or marketing mastermind and considering they have been in business for 11 years it's probably the latter.
The VPS i have with them does not have a steal and the uptime would be 100% or very close to if i hadn't rebooted 2 times.
TL;DR; feels like good company with good people that supports open source and LET. Remember this is a provider with over a decade and a datacenter in a exotic location.
Can't say anything bad aside the website 2010 look, but most hosting sites look like this.
nitpicking aside, it's great provider!

What I want to say is that they don't have a commercial offer with a "gift".
You do know if anyone offers "gifts" its cost is primarily baked and accounted for.

Yeah, I get lucky sometime... Its definitely not skills as I suck at that.
As for giga. So fucking prem. Zero downtime, zero issues. Great in communication. Not even idling either as it production grade quality albeit bit older hardware.
